The owner is friendly, with great service and he is usually there helping customers. I have enjoyed this place since I was in high school when he first opened. He has managed to keep on going even through the pandemic. His hours are 1-7 roughly.
Love this place, been going since ~2006. Delicious, creamy taro slushie and fluffy crispy chocolate eggettes. Gives a nice family-run vibe, feels like you know the food'll be good and they care. ❤️ Soft reopening everything $5 at the time I went Winter 2023, was cash only.
The eggettes were good, but the milk tea wasn't as strong as the Noriega shop. It's still a very solid Hon Kong style milk tea, I like my tea strong. The storefront itself is a bit dated, and has seen better days. After they removed the internet cafe portions they never really repurposed the space or decorations. Ultimately though, it's the snacks and drinks that matters, and this location still delivers.
