I'm not one to typically write reviews, but their California Veggie sandwich is legitimately the best veggie sandwich I've ever had in my life.

First time here, had the French dip sandwich, it was good, the au jus was very tasty, slightly thicker than usual, the bread was okay, but would be better on a sourdough crusty roll that would hold the au jus better and not get so soggy.

There was an Espotos's Delicatezza in San Mateo and after Covid they never opened again, I was sad, the sandwiches at that place were irresistible, I always ordered a Valentino and it was super delicious. I found this place again and they continue to preserve the flavors I knew from years ago. I would recommend this cafe forever, they are more than 5 stars ? ? ? ? ? ?

Tried the portobello burger special. The lady at the counter was super nice, and gave suggestions. Then the owner (chef?) came by with samples. Food was really good, quick, and served hot!

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. I had a portobello burger, but there was lots to choose from.

I see why this place has 5 stars! It is extremely clean/sanitary, the display of the food is amazing, the staff is wonderful and kind, etc etc. So fun and id love to come back!

We have been pescatarian for about 10 years now, so sometimes food options are limited. This is the BEST veggie sandwich I have ever had! The southwestern avocado salad was killer and huge. And Calicraft Coast Kolsch was delicious after 2 weaks drinking bland Carribean brew. It is only a 13 minute walk from the Comfort inn, and about a half hour walk from the harbour. Do not hesitate. I figure he coffee here is the ? as well ?
