“Excellent food! Gracious proprietors and very brave for starting up this little restaurant as a new concern only in the last couple of months. The Indian food places I liked in my neighborhood for the last 30 years have all closed and I was looking something new. I ordered six items and each one of them was spectacular. These hard-working people KNOW how to present Indian food at its best. The Aloo Gobi was a flavorful surprise--the potatoes were so delicate---- and the Lamb Curry perfect. The Garlic Naan, I can predict my big Hawaiian husband and I will fight over. I'll just have to order more. Try the Rogan Josh--you will be so pleased.....and the Palak Paneer, my favorite! I think I could just lose all control and order ten of them. So much to admire when a new eatery concern takes on the restaurant world of San Francisco and be a success. Many locals and Federal Building employees were coming and going and the staff knew who they were and were so friendly.. You can eat in-house at the little spotlessly-clean tables or take something home as I did. I will return and because a regular because of the gracious and sweet greeting and service I received and the beyond-excellent food. THANK YOU!!!“
“I've lived in the area for three decades, (South Bay, East Bay & the Peninsula) but only recently discovered the historic 7 Mile House and can't wait to return. In fact, I'm headed there right after I post this ;.) I walked in on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch / early dinner to-go and sat at the bar with affable locals who all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I was warmly welcomed by the bartender; cocktail service was swift and with a friendly smile. Their mouth-watering menu offers much to choose from. After some deliberation, I selected their pulled pork adobo sandwich with a "side" salad which was an enormous serving of fresh field greens (entree size) along with the gigantic, succulent sandwich which DID NOT disappoint. The meat was tender and smokey, and their adobo is what I'm going back for today ! There was plenty to feed at least two people or one hungry woman with a half sandwich left over for lunch the following day. See you at the Seven ! I've gotta go ~ photos next time . . .“
“Gerson was an incredibly helpful manager and the pies are delicious!Review of service:As we had never been to Shari's and it was close, we ordered delivery from here. When we ordered, we had a bit of an issue with them not having pies in stock but Gerson was supremely helpful with offering us alternatives. Even with all the help, he also went above and beyond and offered to take care of us the next time we came by. A few days later, we decided to get some pies in person and Gerson was there to help us once again. He not only remembered my name, was immensely personable, but also provided us with stellar customer service in general. I will absolutely be coming back whenever I'm in the area and craving some pies and definitely recommend going if only for just the pies!Review of pies:My friends and I had a variety of pie slices (chocolate creme supreme pie, sour cream lemon pie, lemon meringue pie, deep dish Washington apple pie, sweet Montana cherry pie, strawberry rhubarb delight pie, and a tropical coconut cream pie) all of which were unanimously delicious and reasonably priced. Shari's is our go-to pie place now.“
“If you’re craving some abundant and tasty Filipino food, look no further. To celebrate Teri’s 77th birthday, she wanted Filipino food (we were both missing our mothers’ cooking). We chose Pinakbet, Chop Suey, steamed rice with Lumpiang Shanghai for appetizers.“
