Definitely a place to try. Its not a fancy restaurant and it's not trying to be one. But if you want good jamaican food with friendly service. This is the place.

Friday night I I order from here for the first time. I was very disappointed I had order 4 items. Two in which I put specific instructions. I order a burger Plain. & it came with everything we ended throwing away as my son will not eat it. & we order a salad with No tomatoes & it came with tomatoes. I know it be easy to removed but highly allergic to raw tomatoes so even removing it would had not done the trick. I called & all I was offer was a discount which I wouldn’t take because I do not live close to establishment. I was very disappointed & I do not know if I will be back. As instructions are not even taken in consideration from my point of view.

This is always going to be a goto. I don’t live close so it’s always a treat to get them when I am able. Been going here for years and it never disappoints. Only wish they did ackee during the week , that’s my absolute favorite.

Simply put, this is cooking from you mother's or grandmother's kitchen. If you want to feel like you at home waiting for mom to finish cooking your favorite dish come here quickly. I got the Thursday special (Curry shrimp). It was amazing. The plantain was fried just right and the peas and rice was amazing. I'll be back soon. #supportblackowned

The best Jamaican food 😋 👌 If you are ever in the San Francisco and looking for authentic Jamaican food, this is the place to go to. I had the pork, rice and peas, plantains and veggies. For dessert 🍨 I had the sweet potato pudding topped with rum and raisins ice cream 🍦

In for lunch with a good friend who made the trip with me here just so I can try the Ox Tail

I must admit, this was the best Jamaican Ox Tail I’ve had on the West Coast😋

With a beef patty on the side, my meal is complete ☀️

The food here is delicious. The ox tails, salmon, and jerk chicken were all on point. Not too spicy, very flavorful, and good portion size imo.

Came here to celebrate my friends birthday, my first time trying Caribbean food so I was very excited. We walked in and were not greeted with a warm welcome, but we ignored it and still ate there. Should’ve left because the food came out cold and jerk chicken was pink in the center, Mac and cheese was cold and dry. The server had an attitude which was apparent us and made us uncomfortable. I was expecting kindness, vibes, music and good food but experience was sub-par and that’s me being nice. I will never go here horrible experience

Truly, the FLAVA is here! Oxtail tender and delicious, gravy perfect over rice, chicken bit dry but it is chicken. Oh and the plantain perfect perfect not overcooked.

So amazing! Best Jamaican food in the world!

I was hosting a party and ordered food from Flavas. The food was ready for pickup on time, packaged very well and they helped carry my order to the car. The rice and peas, curry goat and fried plantains is as close to the way it’s done in Jamaica as I can find in the Bay Area. So both my Jamaican visitors add my Bay Area friends enjoyed it. Flavas Mixed Vegetables dish was also a hit at my party.
