My first time visiting this place. This place is horrible with customer service. Walked out after the waiter gave an attitude about how I was supposed to mark my orders on papers he gave me. Don't go here.

We went there around 20:45. The restaurant closes at 21:00. They still welcome us for having dinner. So we had quick orders stir-fry Chinese broccoli (kailan) with garlic, Yangzhou fried rice, dim sum and bbq pork buns.
For 2 people I think it’s too much but yes I knew we ordered when we were very hungry.
For me I like Kailan with garlic and fried rice.
The texture of vegetable is still crispy outside but inside it is soft. It didn’t hard to chew it and it didn’t smell green as I am not a big fan of vegetables.
Fried rice is good. It’s not oily and there was a strong flavor of wok.
Dim sum and buns for me were ok but not the best one I have ever eaten.
There is parking in front of the restaurant but it’s limited (around 3 cars can park) as it’s public parking along side of road. You can find some but maybe with a bit of walking then.
Inside the restaurant was clean and have enough space. You can feel comfortable during enjoy your meal.

Good dim -sum but not recommended ordering the suckling pig for $24.00; portion is small and skin tasted like cardboard. Also, double check your order as many of our dim sum orders did not come out.

A bit of a wait to get a table but otherwise delicious filling dimsum with nice Bay views and planes landing nearby.... wide selection of dimsum and reasonable prices. Definitely worth the table wait in my opinion.

We recently celebrated a red egg first birthday at Grand Palace, and it was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was perfect for such a special occasion, with elegant decor and a warm, inviting ambiance that made everyone feel welcome.
The food was outstanding, as always. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, each one bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The Peking duck, dim sum, and seafood dishes were all highlights, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and taste.
The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure the celebration was perfect. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations that pleased everyone in our party.
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Grand Palace truly knows how to make special occasions memorable with their exceptional food, service, and atmosphere.
Highly recommended for any celebration or a fantastic meal! Five stars all the way!

“A unique Cantonese dim sum restaurant with a strangely old-fashioned taste.”
1. The Bay Area, south of San Francisco, has a high density of Chinese residents, so several Chinese dim sum restaurants are thriving. Now that I'm here, I'm curious about what dim sum tastes like other than my favorite San Fran's Yank Sing, so I looked for Grand Palace, a dim sum/Cantonese restaurant near my accommodation.
2. The atmosphere of the restaurant is typical of a large dim sum restaurant, with a large space, large round tables, and busy Chinese servers. Since it was a weekday evening, only a small portion of the weekend dim sum menu was sold, so I ordered Cantonese dishes instead of the various dim sum menu.
3. The appetizer, the barbecue dish, is very strange and unique, but the taste is unique... The Drunken Chicken is sprinkled with real alcohol, so it tastes very alcoholic, and the Crispy Pork Belly has real, crispy skin like candy. It's a bit sweet, but I think they sprinkled some sugar on it to maximize the crunchiness. Of course, the taste is strangely bad. (It doesn't mean it doesn't taste good, it just means it's not a taste you're used to)
4. For dim sum, I ordered Soryongpo and Shumai, but the blood tasted a lot like flour, and the inside had a sour taste and an old-fashioned pork smell. Is this really Chinese style? Anyway, it's burdensome and tasteless.
5. I ordered 'egg white and dried scallop fried rice' and 'crab noodle' as part of the carbohydrate menu. The scallop fried rice was somewhat edible, but the crab meat noodle was a truly delicious ingredient that strangely replicated the tastelessness of dim sum. I did it.
6. The pepper ribs were the most delicious because they tasted like Korean LA ribs with pepper sprinkled on them, but the last Chinese stir-fried broccoli dish was disappointing because it was flavored with Chinese soy sauce, something I have never tasted at any Chinese restaurant in the U.S., and the vegetables were tough.
7. The overall taste was strangely different from any other Cantonese food I had tried so far, which was a bit disconcerting, and the order in which the food was served was completely arbitrary, so I had to eat the vegetable dish as dessert last.
8. Overall, it was a disappointing place with poor taste and poor service. Instead, the portion size is enormous for the price, so I was full. Uselessly...

Greta place for some good hearty dim sum and a treasure trove of full course meals. Excellent cooked seafood dishes and Chinese favorites in a very spacious dining room.
