I ordered fries and this is the second time in a month that I am very disappointed. A handful of fries for 9 dollars. Less meat in the sandwiches from a few years ago. I will not order from the Hidden Spot again.

Noticing every time I go here lately it's not good vibes. The energy is tense, the bartenders aren't attentive and they seem to give me weird energy. For it to be a dive bar, I also was charge $16 for a mixed drink-the price I would pay for.a craft cocktail. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend and probably will not be going again.

Tasty burger. Dive bar. Still can’t wrap my head around that we’re in a world that in a bar a cheeseburger with fries and a beer cost over $40.

They served me a burger that was literally burnt BLACK. Not edible, not salvageable just straight up ruined. For what they charge, this is embarrassing. Looks nothing like their photos. Total waste of money and I’m honestly shocked they let this leave the kitchen.

Best wings in South San Francisco. Got the MVP wings, little hint eat from the bottom of the basket as that where all the delicious sauce accumulated!

Service was TERRIBLE.
Zero effort to make the visit a basic welcoming experience.

I enjouly the food from The Hidden Spot. Sandwiches, burgers and wings make for a varied menu of those 3 categories. They also have onion rings, tater tots and some of the best fries! You won't, however, find salads or healthier offerings. I got the Strength sandwich which os vegetarian bit I won't fool myself into believing its the healthiest, though i'm sure I could do worse.
This is housed in the rear of Hometown Heros bar so children are not permitted in, though Im sure they'd love the food-so get it to go!
Because the venue is a bar, dont expect this to be a fine dining experience. I will say that the bar is old school neighborhood vibe with welcoming bartenders.
Lastly, though the entrance is accessible and they have a door opening bar, there are no low tables to sit at or for someone in a wheelchair to sit and dine from. The tables are all tall with bar stool type seats toto accommodate the height, bit nit accommodate those who cannot sit on high, unsupported stools. If you have difficulty with this set-up, plan to make this a To Go stop for you.

The wings, burgers and onion rings were really good. I’d eat there again if I lived in the area.
