Bowling is fun, plenty of games to play, and has gotten me addicted to Pokémon cards 5/5

Great place for the whole family.

Weekend prices are cool. But the place needs some TLC. A lot of the lanes were closed and dusty and they are already a limited amount of lanes. The bowling balls need to be replaced they looked like trash, theyre all chipped, some of the tv need to be replaced. Aesthetically it looks good, but they need to oil the lanes and fix all the broken ones. This would be a good spot to drink, but the bowling is only good for drunk bowling and that’s it. Also, they don’t have the option to bumper bowl per user it’s either up for everyone or down for everyone wow other bowling alleys have the bumpers up per person food for thought customer service excellent the bowling alley just needs some TLC. At this point it might as well just be a bar.

I came here for my birthday and was really disappointed with the service. The staff member who helped me was unaccommodating, dismissive, and had no personality at all. It felt like he didn’t want to be there and certainly didn’t care that it was a special occasion for me. Customer service makes all the difference, and unfortunately, this experience made me feel unwelcome on a day that should have been fun and memorable. I won’t be coming back.

Shoes are in awful condition (soles lifting from the rest of the shoe), they put us at a lane that said out of order and just told us to take the sign off (but the lane had at least 10 malfunctions during our 1.5 games), the balls and lanes are chipped, and the dj is way too loud.

Nice place, but the balls are a little beat up. The lanes could use a good waxing. The employees are very friendly and make the experience that much better.

Terrible service. Unfriendly staff. They kick you out long before closing time.

We had an amazing time at Hometown Bowling! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with excellent customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. (Stephanie and Maxine)

The atmosphere was fun and family-friendly, and the lanes were well-maintained, making for a smooth and enjoyable game. On top of that, the food was delicious far better than what you’d expect at a bowling alley! The pricing was absolutely worth it for the quality of service, food, and overall experience.

If you’re looking for a great place to bowl, eat, and enjoy a fantastic time with friends or family, Hometown Bowling is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

Fun atmosphere, friendly service, and nice to have the option of arcade games for those who tire of bowling. Very reasonable pricing compared to venues in San Francisco proper, particularly with their Thursday night deal.

Didn't take reservations over phone. They said they were all booked for a party even though all the lanes were open, and no sign of any people. (See pic.) Food was slow. Generally unfriendly. Would not come back.

$40 per hour was a little pricey but we split with friends so I guess it’s not too bad that way but not optimal for smaller parties. They have a full bar which was cool and they serve food but it closes pretty early around 9/9:30 can’t remember. At least they let you DoorDash food so that was cool. There’s music playing and it seems on Sunday brunch they’ll have football, wish I lived closer! lol we had a great time overall.

I was here on Sunday to watch football and drink beer. The Budweisers were $5, and I got a free one from Mark, who also readily kept my water filled and was congenial in our discussions. Other staff was also polite. Will definitely be back.

I attended a private party there. The fried chicken wings were great, as well as the French fries. Then we bowled in the noisy neon-lit alleys. It was very fun!

BEWARE!The bar will add fees and add more tip $ than you left. They charged me $4 more on top of what I was charged and when I left a $3 tip they charged me $25 for the tip.I called the manager (I didn’t get her name) but she was very rude and told me she would look into it. 2 days passed and she didn’t call me back or did anything about the situation.Something sketchy is happening in the bar so be sure to keep a receipt copy for these shady people!

I came on a rainy Sunday. It was pretty busy. I was kindly assisted with getting a lane by a very friendly and patient young lady.
Unfortunately, there aren't many lanes and I was told some are out of order. Despite the fact I was there a good 20 minutes and it appeared there was a lane or 2 available, the wait was approx 1 hour.
Bowling is by the hour only, which isn't a problem at all. I believe it was $40 for the hour and $5 for shoes, if needed and $1 for a ball.
