Spoke with Jeanette regarding the Sales Rep Position in Boston. We spoke over an hour with her asking me questions about my background and experience. When it came time for me to ask her questions about the job, she refused to answer any of my questions and stated I should read the job description. Employers need to realize that the interview process goes both way. This was a job requiring you to travel all over New England and Jeanette would not provide me with information regarding the compensation package. She said that the information would be only be provided once you move on to the next stage. I explained to her that she needed to be transparent with me in order for me to decide if this is a company that I want to work with. SinceJeanette refuse to provide me with detailed information pertaining to this poition , I asked her to withdraw my application. You can't have the interview process be one sided and not provide us with information regarding your company. No one is going to wait for the next interview stage if you are so secretive about the duties of the job and the traveling expenses.
