Last month I went to their food truck. I wish the portion of the Ube mochi cake was bigger and a little less coconut flavored. Surprisingly the taste was better at room temp than warm when I first got it. The texture was nice and reminded me more so of a brownie than a cake.
Recently had the chicken sack (fries and a chicken sandwich) at the sundown cinema event in alamo square. I never have high expectations for chicken sandwiches, I've had so many bad ones, but it sounded so good. I ate this one so fast I could not stop. The chicken was super moist and perfectly crisped and the bread and toppings they used were minimal but effective and delicious. Got their tenders with waffle fries and house sauce, in addition to an ube mochi cake! The chicken was fried perfectly, with a crispy outside and tender, juicy inside. The fries were also fried perfectly, and everything was fresh and hot. The house sauce was super yummy for dipping with both the chicken and the fries. The ube mochi cake had a chewy texture and you can definitely taste the ube. Sooo good! 10/10 coming back again.
