Yesterday was my birthday, and since we haven't gone to Karilagan for months, I really wanted some good Filipino food, and so we went. We enjoyed all the delicious food as usual until I checked the service charge added to our bill without our consent. This is by far my go-to spot for authentic Filipino food in South San Francisco! Every dish is packed with flavor, and the quality is always consistent. Whether it's classic favorites like adobo or their delicious lumpia, everything tastes homemade and comforting. The staff is always friendly, and the portions are generous. Karilagan is one of the better Filipino places to eat in the South San Francisco / Daly City are. The portion sizes are huge so bring a big group to eat with you. Here are the dishes I recommend:
