Food is always a hit from this place. Portion size is great for the price and the flavor never misses. If in the area, this is a must stop

I’ve ate here many times before, food is always awesome . Too bad I can’t say the same about the cashier! I was ordering and told her to take off the tacos I had added a few seconds ago, and to my surprise she said she couldn’t remove it. I asked her why and she said there was no button that allows her remove an item. ( mind you I still hadn’t paid and was still actively ordering) I was upset and told her to just cancel the whole order and she proceeded to say she would have to call her manager on the phone to do so since they weren’t there. This took about 10 minutes and she finally came back and removed the one item I didn’t want anymore. I ended up just getting two items but didn’t feel comfortable eating it afterwards since I saw them take my dish to the side near the back. Not sure if they messed with my order so I ended up giving it to a homeless outside. Not coming back here anymore unfortunately.

Great food! Tried 4 different tacos and they were all fantastic. Just the right level of spice. And the staff were very sweet and friendly.

Las Pencas always satisfies my cravings for authentic Oaxacan food because the food tastes homemade and reminds me of what my Oaxacan grandma cooks.

Great food and service. The salsas were some of the best in the bay area. When it comes to atmosphere I would say it needs an update but for the price it's ok.

Their mole was so gourmet, their little salad quite fresh. They had a white spinkle-on-in clumps cheese that was perfect with the chicken enchilada and a very tasty geen salsa. What a treat, and it was quite a bargain. Also good to have their Mariachi music in background. Must go again!

With so many mediocre Mexican restaurants in Northern California, this place is a breath of fresh air. The food is excellent and expertly prepared. The portions are generous.

Just keep in mind that if you're ordering on Uber Eats, the weekend staff tends to ignore any special requests. The weekday staff is usually very good about honoring special requests, though. They also have a tendency to completely forget items in your order when they get busy.
