Overpriced, pretentious and mediocre. The 14$ breakfast croissant was 90% bread and only a single fried egg inside. Avoid unless you're into that kinda thing.

I got the Breakfast Croissant Sandwich & added Turkey Bacon with that sweet yet savory onion jam! This was everything I was looking for in a breakfast sandwich! Light but filling! This sandwich was executed perfectly! Love that they recycle & all containers are compostible! Huge space, beautiful & serene atomsphere!

Food was ok, tomato basil pizza I ordered was way too salty, but great service and atmosphere. Nice place to stay focused to study or get some work done!

This place smells horrible the moment you walk in. The “menu” has a few items only, expensive as well as the strange concoctions. I didn’t even bother trying their strange little chef’s potluck diner. Get out.

Wonderful spot to get work done or have meetings! The Lighthouse is located in a biotech center, and is basically like a company cafe. There is plenty of seating, coffee is reasonably priced, and also tastes great. The store is also decorated very cutely for Christmas! Bonus, the bathroom is also very nice as expected.

Day Visited: Thursday morning Price Range: $5-$12Parking: Parking lot located outside, but fills up quickly - recommend getting there early! There are also parking lots around the one in front of the cafe. Ordered: Iced Mocha and Breakfast BurritoDefinitely one of my new favorite coffee shops for working. I've visited this place two times already and I have never had difficulty finding a table or area to work. The staff is friendly, delivered my food and drink to me, and the atmosphere is really helpful to focus on work. When you first enter and approach the register, their menu for coffee and tea is displayed, as well as, a TV that shows the various food options - if you're craving breakfast foods, such as, croissants or breakfast burrito, they have it available. They also have lunch options, including pizza and other meals. One of my favorite things about this place is they have so many outlets, making it easier for longer study or work sessions! During my first visit here, I stayed for multiple hours and had no worries about my computer or phone running out of battery. There is also an outside space to work if you want to enjoy the sunshine. If you're in need of a productivity day or a place to just lounge and catch up with friends, The Lighthouse is definitely a great spot!

The location is cute. Quiet and spacious for a work day or a casual hang with friends in the area. I went around mid morning, so it wasn't packed. Maybe about 10 people or so. I'm not sure what the space is like for their happy hour. There are buildings around the lighthouse but I'm not sure how many are business. The parking lot is big but not the lighthouse one and we didn't find parking there. So we just parked in the other lot hoping not to be towed. I think they need to hire more staff. The young lady who took our order, also cleaned up and ran orders to customers. You can tell she was so overwhelmed and it did affect the slow service.

The Lighthouse in South San Francisco is an absolute gem! As a professional, the perfect space that caters to both work and study is a game-changer. The ambiance is simply breathtaking - the views are as inspiring as the coffee! The tranquil atmosphere fuels productivity, and the staff is always welcoming. Hands down, my go-to spot for focused work sessions.
