Don’t bother! They ran out of rice so they closed. Wouldn’t offer other menu items that didn’t require rice. Our Loco amoco didn’t have any sauce as they said they ran out. They then said they tossed their gravy when they decided to close. Sorry isn’t good customer service.

Had this place saved in my collection to try. Made my first ever visit to Rodeo 39 and I have to say, I think I should have tried something else out. Maybe I went on a bad day, but the service wasn't on point and the food didnt live up to my thoughts and desires. This isn't to say it was bad, but it left me hanging.Chicken Longanisa: The cured ground patty was actually decent, probably the only decent part of the meal. The rice was trash and did not mix well. The scallions and radishes did nothing to assist, but I still appreciated their presence.Karaage Fried Chicken (with garlic sauce): I thought fried chicken would have a crispy exterior and a flavorful/juicy meat interior. This had a mushy consistency, I felt terrible eating it, but did not want to see my money tossed.Let it be known, I had originally asked about a couple other plates and the employee working said they dont have any more of those selections. A woman ordered after me, found a seat, and the same employee went running over saying they dont have the meat for her plate either, so she had to re-order. A bit of a let down considering this was a weekday lunch meal. Set the pace for a depressing dinner rush.

This is in rodeo 39. We got the pork belly adobo (needed more sauce) but was satisfying. We also got the pork lumpia and I recommend getting at least 6 for two people.

1st time here. Pretty good. Large serving of food. I tried the Chicken curry adobo bowl and Dynamite fries. 1st..the bowl was huge. Stuffed with chickrn, rice and curry sauce. In terms of sharing..10/10. In terms of taste 7/10. The meat was thigh meat which I am not a fan of. The taste was good though, and the size was great. The sweet potato dynamite fries need a lot of help. There was an ample amount, but 7.50 for fries...I expected some really loaded fries. There was a sliver if cilantro, a teaspoon of sauce and maybe 4 garlic cloves. I asked for more sauce and it was an upcharge. The guy took a picture of my fries and gave me the sauce free??? WtH??? Anyway...worth a try if at Rodeo 39.

The rice was super mushy and soggy. It was definitely cooked with way too much water. My friend got the pork belly with umami gravy, which I tasted. The gravy was very bland and tasteless, and paired with the mushy rice, it made the meal even more soft and mushy. It lacked texture. I am hoping it was just a bad batch of rice where they accidentally put too much water in the rice cooker.I got the fried chicken Adobo with rice and it was fantastic. I really like how they fried the chicken without using too heavy of a batter and the sauce was flavorful.

Came to rodeo 39 public market on a Sunday and was feeling Filipino food. The selection here was very reasonably priced. These are the foods I tried.Sweet Potato Fries - A simple classic. They are really good fries. Basic and delicious. (4/5)Pork Belly Jicama Tacos - These aren't your traditional tacos. The pork belly was tender and moist. Super flavorful with a slight crunchy texture from the "taco" shell. Very good. (5/5)Fried Chicken Adobo - Its fried, it's chicken what's not to love. The chicken was flavorful and there was adobo sauce smothered on the rice. It was delicious. (4.5/5)Chicken Longanisa - Personally this was my favorite. Not sure what longanisa is but this tasted like an elevated spam on top of rice. Super flavorful, soft texture mixed with the fluffy rice. (5/5)Honey Thai Tea Flan - If you like Thai tea then this taste exactly like it in flan form. It's sweet and heavy. (4/5)Ube Halo Halo Flan - This one was sweet. Had red beans inside and had a lot of flavor. Hard to finish in one sitting because it was heavy but I enjoyed it. (4.5/5)Overall this place was pretty bomb. Service was really good with the cashier being super helpful and nice. Took about ten minutes from ordering to get the food.

Another great fusion spot inside the Rodeo 39 Market. The Filipino and Japanese dishes here are all excellent. The top 5 menu items are all highly recommended. My favorite is the Adobo Bowl with pork. It's served over white rice and one full soft bowled egg sliced in half. It's very filling and delicious. The sweet potato fries are a great side to add to the meal. They have a slightly spicy version called Dynamite Fries which has a Mayo and sriracha sauce. I was expecting it to be hot, but it's not really spicy at all. Great flavor though; all of it is. These spiced fries actually come free with Yelp check in and bowl order. Love that!

From the moment I sank my teeth into their dynamite sweet fries, I knew I was in for something special. These crunchy sweet potato fries were doused in a spicy sauce, topped with cilantro and garlic, and boy was it a unique and delicious combo! Now, let's talk about their pork belly jicama taco. Picture this: a crunchy shell made entirely out of jicama, filled to the brim with tender pork belly. Who would've thought a veggie shell could be so darn tasty? The combination of flavors and textures in this taco was out of this world. It was like a fiesta in my mouth! The adobo bowl at Oi Asian Fusion was a flavor bomb. Juicy pork belly, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, nestled on a bed of rice soaked in that delicious adobo sauce. Each mouthful was a party of savory goodness. It was pure comfort food with an Asian twist.Their halo halo ube dessert was my favorite thing! Each spoonful was a heavenly blend of creamy, velvety ube. With all their fantastic dishes priced around 12 bucks, you're getting a whole lot of bang for your buck with their great portion size.

I've been to Oi Asian Fusion in San Diego and was happy to see them when coming to Rodeo 39. So many Filipino fusion type dishes and I don't think you really can go wrong with any dish at Oi Asian Fusion. We ordered their Pork Belly Umami and their Tapsilog. I will say that I've got a lot to try still from their menu but I knew I *HAD* to get their Pork Belly bowl as it's got so much amazing umami flavor going on in this dish! A slight crispness but at the same a nice moist pork belly that just melts in your mouth! The Tapsilog had a nice marinated vinegary taste and tender. Portions are a good size, flavors of the dishes were delicious and the service is not only quick, the ones helping us were incredibly friendly. Oi Asian Fusion has been on point here at Rodeo 39 and in San Diego. They're worth a visit!

Inside rodeo 39 there is a new Asian fusion place called Oi Asian Fusion! Parking is hard because it's always super full and the plaza is busy all the time. They've got the best pork buns I've ever had with a soft bread bun. Best with the dynamite sauce!! Their main menu is the ADOBO BOWL. Chicken & Pork are the options -- The pork adobo is sweet and chewy. I love the texture! The chicken adobo is similar to katsu with crispy texture and goes very well with the rice. Their desserts: Thai Tea Flan & Ube Upside Down Pie are also very delicious-- perfect to end the adobo meal!! LOVE this place! Give it a try :)

This is a good spot for Filipino fusion foods located in the Rodeo 39 food hall. They have a variety of Filipino rice dishes on their menu. I got their Pork Umami Rice Bowl, Chicken Longanisa bowl, Jicama Pork Belly Taco, Karaage Fried chicken, upside down ube pie, and halo halo. My favorite item was their pork umami rice bowl because the pork belly was incredibly tender with a sweet sauce and the dried seaweed was really good with the gravy rice. The chicken longanisa is a sweet chicken sausage with a sunny side up egg. My second favorite item was the pork belly taco because of the tenderness of the meat and the fact that they use jicama as the taco shells. The karaage chicken was decent with a dynamite sauce and the desserts weren't what I expected. The halo halo is a flan with red bean and jelly, but I'm used to halo halo being a ice blended dessert. The ube upside down pie was really sweet with graham crackers on top but it was tasty. Overall I would highly recommend their pork belly dishes.
