We ordered a large carne asada burrito and large beef sour cream rice burrito. It was ok, it could've had more meat though and extra chips and salsa

This Mexican restaurant’s move to the heart of Downtown Stockton feels like a true glow-up. The new space is bright and energetic, with a bold color palette, plenty of room to spread out, and a welcoming vibe that instantly sets the tone.
I ordered the huevos rancheros, served with rice, beans, and a generous homemade flour tortilla. The ranchero sauce was full of flavor with a subtle, well-balanced heat, and the bell peppers added just the right touch of sweetness and texture. The flour tortilla truly stole the show—warm, soft, and comforting, it complemented the dish perfectly and brought back memories of my grandmother’s cooking.
Between the lively new setting and the thoughtfully prepared food, this spot delivers on both atmosphere and flavor. I’ll definitely be back.

I ordered the chili colorado plate, and it was so good!! It was rich with flavor, the rice had a nice consistency, and the beans were also super flavorful. They served it with a homemade flour tortilla. I also ordered french fries for my daughter- they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I only regret not ordering more food!

Another Google review wrote about this places portions. I would have to agree , the portions were ridiculously small. The prices were pretty expensive too, at $22 for a two meat breakfast plate with beans and rice . Restaurants can't expect to raise prices AND skimp their customers. The food was actually pretty decent and the waitress was nice. But this spot is ran down , in the middle of the hood. I can go to a higher end brunch spot at these prices. Very disappointing. I love to support mom and pop spots , but unfortunately I won't return because the portions were actually that bad.
Always a fave! Same food as 20 yrs ago, still delicious. Love when we get to come here.
