This is one of the best soul food places in Stockton! Their customer service was great, they let me know the timeframes when my order would be ready, and checked on me until the food was done. I enjoyed the owners! It’s also beautifully decorated, and the food was delicious! I almost didn’t take a picture of the food because of how fast I was eating, LOL! I’ve already recommended them to several friends and family members, and will be back in the future to try their fried...
I’ve ate here before, and I’m always a fan of the sides . Raved about this place and wanted to show my friend a new soul food place to eat at. Sat there for a while was not offered water had to get up and ask. The chicken had no flavor what so ever I’m not sure it must have been a bad day . Greens are always fire along with the cornbread . I was kinda disappointed and felt like I should have just made dinner at home.
Mac and Cheese was good. The two fillets of Basa fish were pretty salty. Couldn't eat the entire piece of cornbread due to it not being 100% cooked in the center. Very pleasant staff.
