Didn’t realize there was a dumpling place so close to me. The staff were excellent and the food was absolutely delicious.
I ordered the shrimp and pork dumplings, bbq pork buns, teriyaki chicken fried rice, honey walnut shrimp and got fried gyoza

Everything was delicious and I’m definitely coming back to try everything.

I had a fantastic experience at DumplingU! The service was excellent—fast, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, but the standout dishes for me were the chili wontons and the green beans. The wontons were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat, and the green beans were crisp, flavorful, and totally addictive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I ordered to go for seafood fried rice & chicken fried rice. Wait was a bit long but not too bad.

My rice plates were fresh & hot even after driving 10 mins home. The seafood fried rice was 10/10 flavored to perfection. No complaints at all. Very good first impression

The food is very bad apart from being expensive, birds don't matter what you pay but tasty is what I ordered

Dumpling U - where have you been all my life.
Enough of the drama..seriously though, glad to see Stockton is finally getting some diverse in their new restaurants popping up.
Look for the hearts on the right side of food item - this means their popular ort favorites.
Be adventurous and order different things every time you go.
Ask the staff what the food items are if you are not familiar for a better experience. Sit inside since, well there are transients that wander the parking lot.

Update: I lowered my stars. All the reviews and photos are for the previous restaurant called Ssong's Hotdog. I have never eaten at this Dim Sum restaurant. They are stealing the reviews.

The reply to my original review from the previous restaurant even states that they will be closing permanently.

Wow. The food was fantastic, and I plan on going back. I'm actually surprised that it wasn't busier just based on the service and food. I'm hoping i went during a slow time of the day because this place deserves the business. The woman who took our order was very nice. She was very helpful since this was my first visit and wasn't familiar with the options.

The dine in area seems to be set up as an afterthought. Tables are all pushed to one side and not inviting. There is more open space than there are tables. They might be set up differently when they are busier.

First time. A close friend of mine and I decided to check it out for the soft launch. Walking in you seat yourself. The menu was pretty understandable and quick to the point. Rice and noodles were okay. It felt like it was missing something. The cheese rangoons were a little disappointing, much more intimidation crab than the cheese cream filling I am used to with past restaurants I have tried. The dumplings were pretty enjoyable. Overall, I would say it was a great start for this location, but there is a lot of room for progress.

Found this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try! I must say I’m glad that we finally have a great dumpling restaurant here in Stockton! It’s a small restaurant and their open kitchen allows you to see how they make their dumplings! Also, their decoration is pretty cute! As I walked in, I was greeted and seated instantly.

I ordered multiple dishes: I got the house special soup dumplings, crab and pork soup dumplings, seafood fried rice, spicy wontons, salt and pepper fish, and their Shanghai fried noodles.

The house special soup dumplings are a must-try; the soup and the flavor are top tier! 10/10

Crab and pork soup dumplings are not bad, a bit on the salty side but definitely worth a try if you are a crab person. 7/10

Spicy wontons are flavorful; the wrap is not too thick and not too thin, but could be a little spicier to my preference. 8.5/10

Fried rice was awesome! I was surprised the amount of seafood they put in their fried rice, it was a little unexpected! Now that’s the definition of a seafood fried rice! 9/10

Salt and pepper fish was a great appetizer. 8/10

Shanghai fried thick noodles were savory and delicious, good portion too! 8/10

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Yall should give it a try!
