The Owner has posted a response but the explanation is wrong because the machine was working fine and the reason for 20 min wait was simply the incompetence of one specific employee who also admitted that they forgot about my order that was sitting half made in the corner and when I finally asked about it the drink i was handed was wrong. No apology, no offering anything, so dear owner before you write anything please check the facts. I would have removed this review if you simply apologized and not invented a fake reason. Original Review: Used to like the place a lot. Today's experience were horrible. Three people trying to make one coffee... incompetent.. waited for 20 min for a simple Americano because they are slow and then they forgot, shop full of people and very slow service. Will skip next time.

Small place, very busy for a Sunday Christmas eve so people must live it. I got a hot vanilla latte and it was pretty dang good.

The layout of the shop felt a bit congested, and the drinks were sort of disappointing. My friend ordered a matcha and they were out of coconut milk so they used oat milk and the drink tasted like water with not a lot of matcha flavor. I ordered their Alfred Bolt and it legit tasted like a white claw or sparkling flavored water. Overall, it wasn't that great but maybe I'll give it another chance some other time.

The coffee is always reliably great. The employees always seemed underwhelmed when they need to talk to someone, but the mobile ordering here is fantastic so honestly, I’m good.

I didn't have a great experience during my first visit, simply due to a drink issue with the iced vanilla latte.I decided to give Alfred another try and yes, this place is so 100% worth it. The vanilla latte is definitely the best I've had in LA. Great coffee paired with slightly sweet but super flavorful and strong vanilla that blends so well with the coffee. It's still refreshing without being overpowering. I'll definitely return for this over and over again

Great coffee and great service. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but that is to be expected in Studio City off of Ventura Boulevard. I see that there are other locations, so I definitely plan to add Alfred Coffee as one of my go to spots when I'm in a city where they're located.

This is a brand new coffee shop in the outdoor mall on Ventura Blvd. at Coldwater Canyon. We took our daily 3 mile walk and decided to stop here as we hadn't seen it before.My wife got an iced mocha with oat milk and I got a chocolate chunk cookie, both of wish were delish. The server, Alfred R on the receipt, was friendly, helpful and we had a fun conversation. This is definitely a place to go for coffee if you live in the Sherman Oaks/Studio City and there is parking in the back and below.
