If you love Ramen, this is the place to try. While very tiny inside, they offer one of the best ramen we tried. Limited parking on the street. Place is located on the 1st floor of CPK plaza.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Our Go-To Spot in Studio City
Burosu Ramen is our favorite ramen spot in Studio City, hands down. Located in the shopping center with California Pizza Kitchen on Ventura Boulevard, it really stands out for the quality of the food and the breadth of its menu.
My wife and I have eaten here at least 15 times, and it never disappoints. In addition to a full lineup of ramen options, they also serve sushi and poke bowls. My personal favorite is the Howaito Ramen – a traditional ramen with a rich, hearty pork broth, tender slices of pork belly, and a perfectly soft-boiled egg. It hits the spot every time.
My wife tends to lean toward the sushi side of the menu and almost always gets the Haru Chirashi Bowl, which is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There’s a wide selection of sushi to choose from if that’s more your thing.
The outdoor patio makes it dog-friendly, and parking is super easy thanks to the large underground garage in the shopping center.
Highly recommend – this place is a gem. Great food, great service, and a chill atmosphere.

This place is my #1 hidden gem in studio city. And not the kind of place that everyone says is hidden but is actually plastered all over Instagram, but a genuine unknown delight. I’m honestly shocked how my feed has never shown burosu ramen before for the quality you’re getting.
If you’re dining in between 12-3, you can get one of their delicious ramens for only $13. With the combination of quality, portion size, and price, this a phenomenal deal that you can’t find anywhere else on Ventura. I got the new Reddo ramen which was just to die for. The tonkatsu broth is so rich and some of the most flavorful broth I’ve had, with just the perfect amount of spice to not make it overwhelming. They didn’t skimp on the ground pork and the egg was great.
If you are willing to go further than the $13 steal of ramen, the signature sushi rolls are some of the best around, even compared to the upscale fancy sushi spots around Ventura. The fish is fresh and the flavor combinations are amazing. Their make me special roll is genuinely my favorite roll of all time. I know this place is known for ramen but you would be doing yourself a disservice if you miss out on the sushi. They also have great curry with karaage that was an excellent mix of a sweet and spiceful flavors that made me instantly feel at home. My only qualm with it is that they could definitely put a lot more of the curry sauce on the plate.
I did want to mention that the gyoza was nothing special, so I’d skip on that for something like the potato croquette (once again delicious).
I know the review keeps going but this place does everything they do insanely well, and the next thing to talk about are the simplicitea boba drinks they serve. While not the highlight of the restaurant, they were still great and are definitely Instagram pic worthy.
Lastly the atmosphere and service. Man oh man this place has so much personality compared to the soulless high end places you can find all over the street. Tranquil, cute, and clean with a lot of natural lighting; it gives the kind of vibes of finding a cute coffee shop that you could spend hours studying or working at. There is a very limited amount of seating, but I’ve never had a problem with feeling crowded.
The service is usually top tier with people always welcoming and putting their best attitude forward. Today, we did have a waitress who only gave us the food and left. She didn’t do anything bad, but it wasn’t the friendly vibes I get every other time I’ve come here. Usually the service is 5/5 stars!

I like Borosu. I’ve driven by it several times and I’m glad I finally went. I think the portions are good for the price, and the sushi isn’t crazy expensive either. I got the basic curry with rice and my boyfriend ordered the curry ramen which were both pretty good.
What I enjoy most about this place is that they also have an extensive drink menu. I’m used to these kinds of restaurants only having a couple teas and maybe milk or Thai tea, but there was a very good selection here and there were some interesting combinations that I hadn’t seen before. The large size is definitely shareable! I think the drinks we ordered tasted pretty good—not the BEST milk tea I’ve ever had, but it satisfied me.
They also have ice cream, but it was unfortunately unavailable when we went.
The restaurant itself is also tiny, with a few tables inside and a couple more outside. I think that dining in would be great for couples or when you’re meeting a friend or two, but not for larger groups.
I’m giving Borosu 4 stars because the food is fine. Like I said, the entrees and the drinks were enjoyable, but they weren’t anything memorable. I think this place is great if you want some Japanese food and don’t want to go to a separate boba place for dessert. I will definitely return.

Came for the floating noodles but it was only available for their spicy ramen option, which was a bummer. Other than that, food and the drinks were good.

This place advertises themself as an “experience” of a meal, and a couple others and myself decided to try this claim out for ourselves.
The place doesn’t scream “Japanese food” or “ramen bar,” but it is a cozy-feeling modern-ish cafe, albeit a little limited in seating.
The staff were very welcoming off the bat, and would continue to be polite for the duration of our stay.
But we mostly came here for the food:
First off, the Okinawa tea does not live up to its name whatsoever. I expected a less sweet tea with the signature kokuto sugar that Okinawa milk tea usually has, but it lacked any similar flavor— it tasted like sweet cream.
The karaage and crispy tuna rice appetizers are decent, being cooked relatively and tasting how you’d expect a cafe dish would.
A funny thing about the menu— all the names are the romaji of katakana-ified English colors (lol)… although some colors are English loanwords in Japanese (I.e. orange and pink)
The Kurimu (cream; miso-tonkotsu) ramen I ordered with the garlic oil was extremely salty. It wasn’t a flavorful salty whatsoever— it tasted like the ocean, and not in a good way.
The reddo (red; tantanmen) ramen I didn’t try, so I can’t make any comments there.
The howaito (white; tonkotsu) ramen had a very watery tasting broth.
The noodles in all of them didn’t exactly feel cooked, and clumped together like frozen portions would (which might just be from it being removed too soon).
The pork chashu, however, was deeply flavorful and well cooked.
This place did give us stamp cards and coupons for a next visit, which is nice, but I don’t know if I will be returning.
Parking: The plaza Burosu is located in is sat directly above a parking lot, which is supposed to be valet, but is self part at some times (even when it’s marked to be valet at the time)
Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is very quiet, but older kids should be fine.

Lunch special was a decent value, but overall ramen was nothing special and service was lacking.
Lady who served me looked annoyed and was rushing around the whole time so I felt bad asking for anything, including switching my drink order or asking why there was a floating thing in my drink.
Ramen noodles were good but broth was not dense/flavorful enough. Chashu had some tough to chew parts. Egg had an interesting taste. Gyoza was too crispy and flavor was lacking - dipping sauce didn't help.

We like nothing we ordered. Ramen was undercooked, fried pork is overcooked, ginger is chewy. Service is slow, one waitress has to take care of everything I feel bad for her situation. Overall the food is below the average ramen place, we would not recommend you come.

The best Tonkotsu ramen in the valley hands down. We are ramen lovers and live in Studio City, our favorite ramen places are quite far away, so we have been looking for closer alternatives. Burosu has been a pleasant surprise, with full-bodied broths, fresh pasta and well-prepared ingredients. The service is always very friendly and the place is always clean, with a coffee shop atmosphere, good prices and good promotions during lunch and dinner hours.
