“Ever since I went to Belize in 2014 I've been trying to find the cuisine. Fryjacks for breakfast ?
Oxtail, beans & rice, plantains and potato salad(mayo) or cabbage slaw(vinegar).
Can't go wrong with the fried fish either.
The owners are always so friendly.
Thanks for a delicious meal every time. Can't miss spot when passing through LA.

“First time going yesterday. Later found out Mother has been to a previous location before and enjoyed the food. Met a couple of the family/owners and had a pleasant conversation while waiting for ox tails and curry goat. Loved the meal and will surely return.“

“Delicious food! Great service 👏 at first I didn't want the small cup of tortilla soup but the waiter talked me into it. And I am so glad he did! It was so Delicious 😋 . I always get the shrimp avocado garlic sauce burrito and it is always on point! Strawberry lemonade is fresh, so refreshing

“My fiancé and I absolutely love this place! Every time we come in the area we drive 3 1/2 hours and this is our first stop every time! We were recently in town and we ate here twice between two days. The food is always consistent and so flavorful! It may look like a hole in the wall, but it is the best food around!“

“It is one of the best Belizian food spots in South Los Angeles. The portions are hefty, and you can feed three people on one serving. The Oxtails and stew beans and rice are to die for. ? we have had oxtails at a lot of places, and their flavor is the best. Small place, and they have dine in. It's a must try. I forgot to take pictures. Will update on my next visit.“

“Love eating here! Coming from NYC, this is the closest thing I have to Dominican Culture in LA. Always recommend my friends to try their food and they fall in love with the flavors that I grew up with. Also, customer service 10/10, the Dominican hospitality is real here!“

“One of my favorite restaurants authentic Latin cuisine. I have been coming here for over 30 years and was so sad when it closed down during the pandemic. So glad it reopened! Can’t wait 😜 to go back. I give it 5 stars for sure!“

“Let me start with its a very long line & wait.
The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. Customer service is fantastic. But geez the long line up…we arrived at 1:25 they open at 1:30pm & there was a long line, I mean long but they did provide ice cold water which was refreshing & needed when standing in the sun for any length of time.
By the time we got into the restaurant, order, pay & actually get our food it was 3:50pm. They have seating available once you get inside and wait another 30-45 min for your order so you can relax.
Yes people thats how long the wait is. 2.5hrs to wait for food don't get me wrong like I said the food was great but just cant see myself waiting in line again for that length of time hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. I was told the line up is the norm.“

“Only have had breakfast here (i wish places skimp on the white rice.) Eggs with vegs, rice, plantains n fryjacks. The fryjacks are amazing, i left with extra to take home & they were still amazing 2 days later.

“We were here during dinner time, the waiting time is pretty short. We ordered 4 dishes, the two plates were very big, we had to take half the portion home. I didn't really like tamales, it tasted weird to me. The service is pretty no frills, not exceptional but not bad neither.“

“Visiting from Texas celebrating our 9yr anniversary and I have to say the customer service was definitely a 100/10 Aja and D were amazing and very welcoming. We had the rum punch, which was right on point not too sweet like I normally get it was just right. Our food was sooo good hot and fresh w great timing. We will always come back thanks and refer visitors.“
