I brought my reusable coffee cup and they would not allow me to use it. Very disappointing, I wish more coffee shops would get on board with helping to avoid the Plastic crisis that we are in right now.

First time that I’ve been into a restaurant and ordered a latte and cappuccino, and they’re the PROPER volume and size. Thank you for NOT serving 16-40oz 😂 of coffee. Food was great, service even better!!!

Chinese Chicken Salad was very disappointing. Chicken was dry, hard and chewy as if it was 4 day old chicken that had been sitting in the fridge. It was strange because I ate at the West LA location in October and it was very good. Chicken at that location was not battered and it was fresh. I won’t be ordering that salad again.

Joan s on Third in Studio City/Ventura: They have the best turkey sandwich, and lentil soup (this was in the frozen food area) I ve ever had in my entire life! ❤️ The food, the staff, the place and the good vibes there are just AMAZING! 😍 I recommend it 100% , especially on a Sunday morning with the Studio City Farmers Market right there, the best combo ever! 😉💯 Thanks guys and I ll come back! 🩷

We are in town to go to Universal, and staying at the Garland Hotel. We ordered this food via DoorDash. We put allergy alert in the notes and I immediately got a call with them telling me the item we ordered had our allergen. They quickly worked with us to figure out an alternative way to prepare the meal. Our food delivered quickly and OMG. Best food we’ve had since we arrived. Maple chicken sandwich 🤤, the homemade pickles were amazing, our kids enjoyed their food (breakfast burrito and sandwich) and the Chinese chicken salad was top notch. I feel like I’m being dramatic but I’d eat that Maple chicken sandwich for a birthday meal 🤣 thank you to the staff for preparing a delicious healthy dinner for us even though it was via DoorDash, it tasted like we were sitting in the restaurant. Next time we are here we’ll come visit in person.

This review is strictly for the food and not the dining experience because we always have this delivered. On weekend mornings, this is our go to. We order from Joan’s on DoorDash and it feels like room service. We always order the New York breakfast Sandwich with hash browns. The sourdough bread is perfectly buttered and toasted, the eggs are scrambled and folded just right to fit in the sandwich and the bacon is just the right thickness. Our cats come running when it arrives so they can enjoy a few tiny pieces of bacon. They don’t do this for any other restaurant we order from even if it includes bacon. I really enjoy the breakfast sandwich, their meatloaf and buttery mashed potato’s. Their baked goods are also solid specifically their chocolate chip cookie, carrot cake and rice crispy treat. Thank you Joan’s!
