Tried Jon + Vinny’s for the first time this morning, and I don’t think I’ll ever be back. The food was nice, but the service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress, Jacqueline was rude, She rushed us through the menu and did not take her time in anyway. We felt like a burden sitting at her table. My friend and I didn’t order much, maybe about two things because we had recently gotten over a stomach bug and could not eat much. We got the feeling that she figured she wouldn’t get tipped well on such a small bill, therefore she overlooked us and was a little frustrated that we were even in her section. Super disappointed, wish this wasn’t the way that we started our day. I would like to go to a restaurant where the server is friendly and helpful no matter how much money we spend.

The portions here are so minuscule. The food was not good. The ice cream was not worth it. It was $120 for two people and we left hungry. I really would like to like this place. It’s a very nice location. They have a wonderful staff, but the food is just not up to par. I would rather go to Vitello’s Little Tony’s Maria’s Italian kitchen. Will you get so much more food and so much better quality the food here we have one order of pasta Allie One deconstructed gem salad cannoli ice cream 120 Dollars Way overpriced way too small portions and not really good pasta. I can’t imagine if they specialize in pasta that the pasta wasn’t delicious. It was gummy it was oily and it just wasn’t good. It was all night. I don’t know, but not worth it at all

Wonderful pasta and pizza. Pasta was very well balanced and bright. The few ingredients on our pizza came together very well. The crust was light and enjoyable
We came here on a Friday night and had an amazing experience! Even though we had reservations, the place wasn’t too busy. We ordered the gem salad, spaghetti limone, spicy fusilli, and chicken cutlet — everything was absolutely delicious, and I’ve been thinking about that meal all weekend. Service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe was casual yet perfect for a date night. Just a heads-up: no street parking without a permit after 9 on. valley parking is available. Enjoy! We can’t wait to go again!

We sat at the bar and ordered a glass of pino and bruschetta with the ricotta cheese which was recommended by our bartender. The ceaser and the fusilli are awkward a must and they never fail!

Absolutely loved our dinner at Jon & Vinny’s! The food was incredible, the service matched (special thanks to Patrick!), and atmosphere was very sweet (certainly family friendly).
We will definitely be coming back!

We’ve been loyal customers of this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. Last night, however, was very disappointing. While the food was delicious and our server was kind, the manager continuously came to our table asking if we were finished, even as we were still eating. When we ordered dessert, she was rude when bringing take-out containers, and before we were done, she told the server to bring us the check. Shortly after, the host asked us to leave because there were “people waiting,” yet no one was outside. We spent over $450, and being rushed out like that felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Sadly, this experience has left us very disappointed in a place we once loved.

I rarely ever write reviews, and to be honest, I didn’t want to at first. Because the food is really good. However, my experience left me disappointed. From the moment we arrived, with reservations, no less we were greeted with hostility. We were told to move out of the way, which we understood, as we were near the doorway. Since it was our first time, we didn’t know there was seating available to wait, but the tone used was unnecessarily harsh. Still, we brushed it off and didn’t let it affect us.
When we asked for outside seating, we were told we’d need to be finished by 8:15. That was reasonable to us, as our reservation was at 7:15 and an hour felt more than enough. However, when our food arrived around 7:45, the pressure from the waiter began. While we were still eating with food on our plates, the server repeatedly asked if we were “good” or if he could clear things away. It felt rushed and unwelcoming, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. I even had to tell him, that I am still working on my food.
We weren’t planning on staying past 8:15 anyway, but being rushed through a meal when we still had half an hour left a bad impression. I understand it’s a small space and dinner rush can be hectic, and I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But feeling unwelcome and pressured to leave is not the kind of experience that makes you want to return.

Pepperoni pizza is so delicious. Also try the Gem Salad.

So disappointing at the lack of consistency with all of their restaurants as of late. I ordered a Cacio de Pepe pasta that was soupy. And unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Hopefully the OG owners can get this restaurant back into shape because I love the location and I really want it to succeed.

Jon & Vinny’s Studio City has quickly become one of my favorites. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. Highlights for me are the gem lettuce salad with citrus and Parmesan, the marinara braised meatballs, and the spaghetti limone. The pizzas are excellent too, with thin, crisp crusts and just the right amount of char.
Portions are smaller, so it’s best to order a mix of pizzas, pastas, and salads to share. Desserts like the chocolate cake and cannoli are a nice way to finish, and the cocktails are balanced and well made.
The atmosphere is lively and often crowded, but a reservation helps. Parking can be tricky, so valet is usually the easiest option. Service has always been friendly and efficient.
Overall, it feels like a modern California take on pizza and pasta that delivers consistently good food and energy. Definitely a local favorite worth returning to.

Modern LA Italian spot. That means doubling down on everyone's favs and skipping the traditional meat/fish Italian dishes.
Only negative is the host ain't it. Came w a party of 6; they split us into 2 ppl and 4 ppl. Couldn't just give us 1 table; 2 of us had to sit separately.
Food was absolutely incredible. Mozz sticks were the best. Cheese was super stringy and marinara sauce was real quality (you could taste it's high-end). You HAVE TO get the burrata thingy w the honey drizzle. Chicken parm and cacio e pepe was also above average. Don't forget the salad w fennel, arugula, and hazelnuts.
As long as you get the above, you'll be in good shape. I can't speak to the other items on their menu.
