Reall bomb sushi rolls were the yellowtail and spicy tuna roll. Wow. Our waiters suggestions didn't disappoint and only impressed us with the high quality of flavor from this restaurant. Would go here again and ambience is very romantic
knowledgeable.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly as well.
Restaurant is clean and organized. Lighting is good. The noise level is perfect! Glad I could easily enjoy a conversation without struggling to hear or talk!! So important.
They do offer valet. I parked on the street with metered parking.
Food:
Did the full omakase for ~$120/person. This includes 3 appetizers (choice of soup), a small salad, fresh oysters, and we had white fish with truffle and a nice sauce. All of these were excellent!
The fish was fresh. However, some of the fish had one note with what at times was an overwhelming ocean taste. I know some people really enjoy that. However, it was distracting from the taste of the fish itself.
Quality wise was not the best I’ve had. Happy that the fish was not covered in sauces. Chef does let the fish speak for itself. Would have been nice to have included more tuna and a beef course.
The uni quality was not great. Maybe it is just me, but I really am not enjoying uni the way others seem to enjoy it. Last item was a hand roll made from Crab. Very tasty, but I was full.
I will mention one of the pieces, the perch, was memorable for how bad it tasted. It looked and smelled delicious, firm white meat, with some darker shades. But the taste was… It tasted like what a boat covered in barnacles looks like.
We did get to finish with a choice of desserts.
Would I return? Perhaps to try the regular rolls from the menu.

Sat at the counter for dinner. Decided to do the full omakase. The chef is very friendly, inviting and knowledgeable. The staff is very welcoming and friendly as well. We came to Leona’s while scouting a good option for a larger group dinner, and it ended up exceeding expectations. We made a reservation for six and were seated immediately upon arrival. Parking in the area is extremely limited, so valet is basically a must. It was around $10, which honestly made things much easier, especially since we were running a bit late.
We were seated in the covered patio, which was beautifully set up and comfortable. The indoor lounge also looked great, while the sushi bar felt more suited for casual dining rather than a large party. Overall, the ambiance was polished and impressive.
The cocktails were excellent across the board. Presentation was thoughtful, and the flavors were well balanced. Easily one of the highlights of the night.
For food, the appetizers were fantastic, especially the shishito peppers, which stood out the most and were a table favorite. From there, everything we ordered was consistently strong. The scallops, yellowtail sashimi, ribeye steak, and branzino were all cooked perfectly. The steak came out a proper medium rare, and the fish dishes were delicate and well seasoned.
The only dish that didn’t quite land for me was the cucumber salad. It felt under seasoned, and while the lemon helped slightly, it wasn’t memorable. The sushi rolls were good, but if I were coming back for a date night or a smaller group dinner, I would probably skip them in favor of the hot dishes and sashimi.
Desserts were also a highlight. The flan was smooth and well executed, and the candied orange peel on top was a thoughtful and delicious touch.
A special shout out to Chris, our waiter. He gave genuinely helpful recommendations, was honest about what stood out on the menu, and shared his personal favorites, which made ordering for a larger group much easier. His guidance definitely elevated the overall experience.

Overall, Leona’s is a strong choice for both group dining and special occasions. Excellent cocktails, well executed dishes, and standout service. I would absolutely come back, especially knowing which items truly shine.

Very cute restaurant. The portion size for the crab croquettes was surprisingly small but the food was good overall. The staff were also nice and helpful.
I love everything about this restaurant and experience of it. From the time I valet my car until the time I leave. Frank and his staff are A-1. Leona's is on my top fav list.
Restaurant is pretty and comfortable. The staff was great, very friendly and attentive. Drinks were good and the bus staff was great. Downside is the food was less than mediocre. The raw fish was definitely not fresh and most I couldn't eat because it tasted old and fishy. The miso salmon was good and 2 of my guests had a creamy seafood pasta that they liked. Bill was $600 for 4 people and so not worth it. We tried getting in to other sushi restaurants but everyone else was full. This restaurant was empty, for obvious reasons.
Overpriced because portions are so small. Food is tasty and service was good and great ambiance.
The food did not justify the cost. Menu items were expensive, and the sashimi tasted fishy. I would not come back.
We had dinner at Leona's last night and were super surprised. Atmosphere, food and drinks were top notch. We sampled different sushi, their pasta and Branzino and everything was delicious. Highly recumbent the Lichee Martini.

Honest review: pretty, good service, good music, weak drinks - I had two “martinis” and drove home was barely buzzed, food is fresh but disappointing as it somehow managed to lack any flavor. So weird. Like a piece of salmon there was like air, versus Sushi Note which is amazingly delicious. The wasabi wasn't even like really flavorful and had no kick. Now I know I'm a real snob.
