This place has the most spot on Korean style 'galbi' (short ribs) in LA / oc area combined. Potatoes and macaroni salad was really good too and the serving size is just wow. Definitely will be coming back for more.

Pretty good Hawaiian bbq here. The sauce was sweet and the meat was good quality. Mac salad needs help- was too bland. But def would come back again for the bbq.

I could honestly eat here multiple times per week. I've never had a bad plate. My go to is the short rib plate (comes with rice, salad, and macaroni salad) and the manapua. If you are in studio city, this is a MUST HAVE.

My son raved about this place so thought I would try it. All I can say is, that kid has great taste.

Ohana BBQ is my comfort Hawaiian food spot on Ventura Blvd. They stand out among the others because it's Hawaiian dishes with Korean BBQ. Every time my wife and I go , the gentleman who takes the phone orders is also the one ringing us up and he's so pleasant each time. My favorite item on the menu is the japchae with short rib. They're also very generous with the teriyaki and hot sauce which is a plus. Also the wall of celebrities who've dined there is such a great touch!

I have been coming to Ohana since 2005 when I discovered it while working at the deli next door and all I have to say about this place is that it's the #1 Korean/Hawaiian bbq spot. It's husband and wife owned and they probably have the same line cooks working ever since I can rememberHigh high quality food and good portions, in my opinion. I know there are complaints about the prices, and with inflation, rightfully so but as a restaurant owner myself, their costs are up as well. The plus side about the cost conversation is that the plates can be easily be 2 meals depending on how you eat. I do get what I pay for here. The owners are authentic and can be nice/stern depending on how you take it but overall, this is a hidden gem as it's in an "abandoned" shopping center with a few businessesTry everything! Everything is really top and flavorful

Went to after a day at universal. Great food and so much better than amusement park food. We got bbq chickens and chicken katsu. Both were fantastic.

People shouldn't judge this restaurant by the atmosphere because the food and service outweighs the tiny restaurant tenfold. I don't know how someone could make a salmon better than other restaurants, but they totally take the cake on this one.

FOOD: Bomb. The portion was a lot, the food was hot and thoroughly cooked, flavors were good and they give you extra sauce. SERVICE: This was my first order from Ohana and I got it delivered, but they tied the bag and put a tamper sticker around it so that if anyone messed with the food, I'd know. MUCH appreciated. VIBES: I haven't been to the actual restaurant yet but I'll update the review when I go.

If you come from the parking lot west you can see the sign. We made a mistake and parked next door. So when we walked into the strip mall, we couldn't see the sign. And there is a big hedge separating the parking lot and the walkway. So we couldn't just go look for the sign. And there's nothing on the windows. So that's annoying. It's a small place. We decided on the 1/2 Supah salad(was pretty big) because the full size was $19.99. It was like an Asian chicken salad- delicious. And we got the pork ribs plate with macaroni salad. It came with a little green salad and rice. The ribs were good. But they were drenched in a sauce that we didn't love. Kinda spenda for a small place.
