The best restaurant I ate during my trip to LA! Both the sashimi and sushi were so great that I was impressed by the taste. I will visit this place again before I return to Korea. Subarashi!

This place is within walking distance for me and I’m having a hard time stopping myself from going every day for dinner.Fantastic food. I think it’s pretty reasonable price wise given the local competition. Will absolutely be back.

We stopped here due to reviews on yelp and were not disappointed! Every single peice of sushi we ordered was fresh and flavorful! It's been awhile since we have experienced some creativity in flavors and they continually surprised us with combos like marscapone cheese with eel and then made our tummy happy with freshly grated Truffles. The rice proportion was absolutely perfect, just a little but not too thick so you really taste the flavor of the fish. All the sushi chefs were friendly and I wish I lived closer so I could eat there all the time!

Good priced for the omakase and good quality! We got the $80 omakase and a delux Chirashi bowl. The fish was fresh and tasty, also great presentation. Service was good and fast. Will def be back again!

We love this place. We have been to many many sushi places in LA, and this is on the top of our list. Most of the items we ordered were delicious. Oh did I mention their sushi rice was served warm? This is a huge plus because the warm rice gives you the contrast of temperature and the layer of taste makes the sushi taste much better.Only one thing I don’t recommend: the real crab hand roll had too much mayo sauce and you can barely taste the crab.Must get:Black cod (this is a rare find)HalibutBlack snapperEel mascal pone (melt in your mouth)Toro handrollKanpachiSalmonOctopusWe spent $200 for two. It is not cheap. But honestly you get what you pay for. You can’t compare the quality for when you spend $50/person on sushi.Anyways. We will for sure come back. :)

For the prices, this place should have a decent bathroom. It smells like piss and is disgusting. As for the food, the tempura was bland, the miso was fishy and salty. The rainbow roll had a rather revolting garlicky, unappetizing sauce all over the plate. The yellowtail sashimi was fantastic and the crab, albacore roll was very good.

Wonderful experience with fantastic fish! Highly recommend sitting at the bar and doing the omakase. I had the #1 option to start but can't wait to go back and try the #2! With so many "fast food" style sushi places in the area it is very nice to have a place you can go to occasionally to splurge on fresh, quality nigiri.

Really enjoy the quality and taste of the fish. My only complaint is the portions are rather small. I know it is quality over quantity but just the cuts of the fish seem very small compared to others I enjoy. Other than that the fish selection for the Omakase Take 1 was five stars the garnish choices to accompany the flavor of each fish was spot on and the rice which many spots have forgotten how to do correctly was perfect. Was a good experience and really has me wanting to come back for another take. Service is on point and the ambiance is minimal and a comfortable feeling.

Such yummy and fresh sushi! Great ambiance and very homey! Fish was amazing and you can tell it was good quality. I like the fact that they don't pack on so much rice- so you taste the fish! The service was great and they came to the table quite often to check on us. We ordered the Uni- it was to die for. They had one restroom for both females and males. They also had parking - which is great because if you know where this is located you will know how hard it is to find parking. The salmon and spicy tuna hand rolls were amazing!!!! My favorite roll was the Dragon roll and they have this special sauce with the cut rolls, it's like crack. They were friendly and came and sang happy Birthday to my bestie!!!! Thank you so much will definitely be coming back!
