Awesome throwback piano lounge that transports you to another classic time where you can listen to great live music. The vibes are great, an awesome mix of upscale and casual. They did a great job transforming this room. The music was beautiful and a shoutout to our great server Will who made our night. We’ll be back with friends!

90 minutes between drinks. Martinis came half full. Server had no idea what martinis they offered. Overall bad experience.

Karaoke & open mic every Thursday from 7–10 PM! 🎤 They also host weekly pop artist showcases starting at 7 with amazing featured performers. Such a fun spot for birthdays, nights out, or for any indie artist looking to share their music. Great vibes, great atmosphere!

Quiet intimate space, multiple size areas for different experiences . Interesting decoration, menu quite extensive Ana a good wine list. An accomplished pianist / singer entertained us.
Food and service were great.

Very cool old school speakeasy. Sinatra themed cocktail room. It's a bit dark but that's part of the charm. I will be back!

Velvet Martini Lounge is a real old-school gem. The food was excellent, the drinks were well-executed, and the service was great. The live music made the evening extra special.

Really cool place. The lounge has very intimate vibes. Nice booths, private tables for 2 with curtains, solid wood tables for larger parties. It's very tastefully decorated and lit. It really does feel like a speakeasy, like a cool lounge, not a restaurant. They have these cool faux-windows that make it look like you're overlooking the valley. I thought that was a really nice touch.
They had live music/karaoke. Some original musicians, some locals, most singers had their own guitar to play karaoke which was really cool. Emily Brooks played a short acoustic set of originals, which was really cool, and other artists took turns doing originals and covers. It was also open to anyone who wanted to sing karaoke (sans guitar) or use the piano. Not a typical karaoke bar crowd, in a good way.
Their cocktails were good. Had a nice wine list but I didn't try any. We had a tequila and mezcal one, both were good and creative.
The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The menu is a little expensive for what you get, but I get that you're paying for more than the food, like the experience. I'd probably have spent the same amount at any of the many modern trendy westside Italian restaurant. Tiramisu was really good!
And can't forget the service, they were really nice and attentive. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Shout out to them, and all of the staff that are a part of the restaurant.
I would love to come back for drinks, listen to music, and even play. A really well-put together place. Totally unassuming from the ground floor/main dining room, until you walk upstairs.

Waiter Will R would not serve the tables with black guest waited for over a hour after getting drinks for him to ask if we wanted food. Just asked for the check
Great lounge food and cocktails! Beautiful old Hollywood vibe. I love this place. Great date night.
Lunch on President’s Day was savory and wonderful service! We are looking forward to Lisa Donahey’s show concert 3/19/25
I wanted to like this place so bad. My boyfriend actually went here by himself for drinks once, had a great experience and decided to spend Valentine’s Day here with me. This time, our experience was severely lacking. I arrived 10 minutes early to the reservation and I was not approached by a single member of the staff for 45 minutes +. When we finally complained, we were attended by a bunch of different waiters because we couldn’t get ahold of the waiter who was assigned to us. Shortly after, the manager came out and assured us that we were their priority, however our experience did not get better.
Honestly, the garlic bread was a joke. It was literally blackened toast with garlic sprinkled on it. The steak was good but for $50 there should be more than just mashed potatoes on the plate. The drinks were good and so was the tiramisu which saved the night.
Some of the staff came off as very passive aggressive and annoyed that we complained but there was nothing else we could do at that point. Having to wait almost an hour for a glass of water is absolute insanity. I will say, the ambience is excellent and the music was incredible. However, this doesn’t make up for the poor service and mediocre food.
