A staple for great Italian food in the Valley. Can't really go wrong with anything on the menu, plus they have nice wine list too.

Such a special place with amazing food, the best service and live music in the most cozy lounge. Our waiter was so attentive and the musician behind the piano was incredibly talented. Such a wonderful surprise and the best musical dessert after a truly delicious meal.

Excellent food and exceptional service. I went with my colleague for dinner and forgot to get the receipt. Called the next day and Jon from management went above and beyond to help in finding the receipt and mailed it to me. That truly talks about their customer service. Very impressed. Definitely going againDietary restrictions: Have great gluten free dessert option

Wonderful evening at Vitellos! We brought our very fussy friends, and they were very happy! The food was great...chicken Parmesan, chicken piccata, Caesar salad, spicy meatballs appetizer. Fabulous waiter!

Although my husband and I have been dining at Vitello's for years we recently have been going a little more frequently. Being vegan I appreciate the wonderful plant based food choices that are available. My husband is not vegan and he is very happy with the other choices as well. We have had two wonderful servers in the last two weeks - Aubrey and Caroline.

BBQ chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza, and strawberry field salad were all very well made and tasted great! Service was attentive and did not rush us. Will definitely return for other menu items.

Had my first meal at Vitello's, sat outside and will definitely return. Excellent service, well spaced out seating, very good menu offering classic Italian and also a good selection of plant based options. Reasonable selection of wine by the glass. My only negative which is why I dropped a star is that the fries were a bit underdone, not golden, tasty or worth the calories! Beyond burger was great, carbonara was also great. Brocollini was okay, would have been better with some garlic or chilli added. All in all reasonably priced, good menu, great service, nice ambience and mostly hood on the food.

What a great location - and it would be amazing if they installed patio heaters outdoors so that you could enjoy a spring night outside dining - the noise level inside was so uncomfortable - I just wanted to leave it was that uncomfortable - There isn't much for sound insulation inside and if you get a couple of tables in there of people and mix in some alchohol - it gets incredibly loud with voices echoing and trying to overcome each other - it makes for an uncomfortable evening if you're not part of that party - The food was good - I wish you didn't have to ask for pepper and cheese - would be nice if they brought - then you wouldn't have to wait to eat your food while it's fresh if you're hoping to add any additional flavor - I doubt I'll be back with all the choices in Los Angeles - was in the mood for great Italian - and if there was a comfortable ambience - all the other things wouldn't really matter -it was the blending off all the experiences that made me happy when it was time to leave -

We tried Vitello's on a whim and were really impressed. The ambiance was just right (they could use better photos on here), our server was very pleasant and attentive, and most importantly the food was outstanding. We had the meatballs to start, and the sauce was spot on (and growing up Italian-American, I'm a bit of a snob about red sauce). Our entrees were the salmon, the eggplant parm, and the chicken piccata, and they were all winners. I can see why this place has been in business for so long.

Their food was very good. Ambience was good. When I made the reservations I had indicated that we were celebrating a birthday. However, coordinating a simple birthday candle request on a dessert we ordered did not materialize. The service was fine, but could have been more attentive especially for guests celebrating a special occasion. The manager did come over and gave us a complementary cannoli to go.

Restaurant is noisy, hard to have a conversation. Service was a little slow but our server was very pleasant. The ambience was mediocre, but the food was pretty good. I would have expected more given how long this restaurant has been around.

Our friend ordered a pizza and it was terrible. She had to send it back and they brought another one and it was just as bad. And they did not Take it off the bill even after the waiter told us that other people were complaining about the pizzas that day. My Caesar wrap was very good as were the brussels sprouts. I ordered with it. My other friend salad looked very good, and she seemed to enjoy it.

Great service and quaint neighborhood surrounding it with cure shops up and down the street. There's stores to buy clothes that are not too pricey and a variety of eclectic shops with interesting themes to check out before and after dinner. There's coffee places and candy stores and ice cream there's gift stores etc and If you don't mind that Robert Blake who was the actor in Columbo - sh ot his wife there after dining then go give it a try. Waiters and staff are epic. Food is good. There's some venue upstairs with entertainment I've not checked out but there is a constant flow of 40 - 50 year olds with young families and urbanites enjoying the night. It fills up in the evenings. Very popular.
