We came by for coffee and shopping as we usually do on our way to or from Santa Barbara. I had the worst golden latte of my life here. I decided to make the best of it and enjoy the shop. We got some bathroom decor. I wasn't too pleased with the employees in the shop. A young frizzy hair blonde girl was following people around all frantic like. I kept moving away from her because she was giving me anxiety and I was just trying to have a nice relaxing time with my shitty latte. When we went to pay I over heard her loudly telling two older ladies behind the counter that she was trying to catch people stealing ? I watched her follow and harass this older lady and then loudly talk about how she thought she had memory issues. I don't know it was really weird and unprofessional in my opinion. It made me uncomfortable and the whole experience which is usually a really pleasant one, left a bad taste in my mouth.

The Field and Fort is decorated for the holidays! Don’t miss this beautiful shop! Their brewed ice tea is strong and great too!

The heated outside eating is what really makes it worth it.
We shared the housemaid English muffin but I didn't need the apricot habanero jam on there...too sweet.
We also ordered the sirloin hash which was unique and hearty. The coffee was strong, but that's what I like.
Next time I'll try something house made sweets.

Great for lunch and brunch. All tables are outside. Lovely garden setting outside this well merchandised home accessory shop where I never leave empty handed. Place your food and drink order at the register outside, take your numbered table card to any table and your food will be delivered to you. It’s not a fancy setting, but it is comfortable. Menu is varied with soup, salads and delicious sandwiches. The only snafu is one order taker and the weekend lunch time line can be long. Be patient. It’s worth the time.

We have been here many times and this time a young gal came after our children with threats and profanity. Never bring children to this place. It was if she’s possessed by something evil. Will not be going back and we’re now considering a legal action. Disgusting and despicable.

A very nice to have breakfast or brunch. The view is very pretty, as well as the ambiance. But the food was the highlight and it was amazing!
The store had the cutest furniture and dinning ware.

It is family friendly but if you do have little ones that are a age that would love to explore I would avoid going into the store because of the glass items around the store!

Pastrami sandwich minus Pastrami. Limited refills on Arnold Palmer. Snarly attitude. Never again.

The name confused us, despite the unfortunate name of this establishment the food was great. We ordered 2 sandwiches and the bread is fresh and delicious, and the sandwiches were tasty. I went for the asparagus sandwich which is an unconventional choice for me and it was really good but to be honest she needed more of the beet hummus. Saw the roast beef going by and seems like that was the move.

This place is awesome for food and environment but instead of having a huge store of merchandise in the restaurant how about using some of the space to extend your kitchen so everyday at the lunch hour rush people don’t to wait 30 minutes, which is usual. The area selling nuts and pastries can be consolidated also so another register could go there instead of one slow moving line. Other restaurants manage these issues. 🤷‍♂️

My daughter loves this place and took us there for lunch. The line was long and it took 30min to order then another 35/40min to get the food so quite long overall. They were nice enough to spontaneously bring us a free scone for dessert for the long wait. We all had sandwiches: the breakfast, the Reuben and grilled cheese, honestly they all were delicious!! We also had a coffee, lemonade and a fizzy drink plus a cheesecake, bill was $100 so not cheap. The shop is super nice with really cool bougie assortment, also not cheap but very beautiful.

This is a greta little gem that is a staple to stop at. It is not fast so if you are in a hurry this isn’t the place but if you want good quality food and a great atmosphere it is worth the wait.
