It was solid pizza but unfortunately didn't stand out as particularly unique or amazing. It took longer than I would have expected for delivery, but the wings were great.

It might look A bit underwhelming, but you have to trust me on this, it is even better than KFC or Popeyes or Dominos, and the price is Really good. Any one can afford it. The Pizza and Hot wings are AMAZING. They are made fresh, and the Chicken is soo juicy and tender, and the pizza is crunchy and delicious. Would’ve gave it six stars but google maps didn’t allow me to🤣

Okay so I've been ordering from Rusty's for 20 years and I can say they are consistently incredible. I mostly do delivery, for which they are prompt and quite capable of navigating Santa Barbara's many winding roads, but I have eaten in a few times as well. The crust is the perfect amount of crisp, the pizza is always warm when it shows up, and is (almost) better the next couple of days. I am obsessed with their custom pizzas, for which I usually get pepperoni and pineapple -- controversial, I know, but trust me it's delicious -- and a bunch of their ranch dressing because if you're going to indulge in some excellent pizza, go all in. This pizza is the full-blown, American/Californian style pizza you eat with your fingers while watching Netflix, not the thin crust Italian you might need to eat with a knife and fork. I like both, but this place is 100% a nostalgic delight that I'll come back to time and time again.

Placed an order at 7:34 with AI answering. Took five calls to get it right since the AI doesn’t work the greatest. Said it would deliver in 20 min. Called and talked to a live person at 8:53 who said they should be there in 5 min or call back. Called back numerous times and when answered the call hangs up. It’s 9:21. This is a bummer. I really like Rusty’s.
Maybe the new automated system will put them out of business I spent 15 minutes waiting for the automated system and then someone answered the phone a young lady she did not know how to connect me to the summerland store. Why is the pizza so dry? why don't they put in any tomato sauce? Gabby might spit in your food watch her she is angry, the other guy is on his phone.
