This place used to be really good and our go to for kachori, samosas and Bengali sweets.Food has become stale and very spicy in the last couple of months :( Not sure if management changed or their cook changed but very sad.

We called and asked if they have malai ghewar. They confirmed they have it and I mentioned I’m on my way and picking it up in 20 mins. After getting there the guy at the counter billed us for the ghewar and then made us wait for 10 mins to inform they ran out of it. So I pointed at the ghewar sitting on the counter, he mentioned that’s stale. I was like why would you keep stale sweets. Then I looked at other sweets and everything looked dry, hard and stale. They basically made us drive from San Jose for nothing and were unapologetic about leaving us so disappointed.

Horrible customer service. Repeated many times over. You order. And go for pickup.. they say will be ready after an hour. You go after an hour and they say we can't have your ready.

$20 a pound Jalebi is super pricey and on top of that they don’t measure the jalebi before boxing it . I asked the workers to measure it they refused and said they sell it as pieces and charge as pound which was totally not acceptable. I would rate the customers service as below average . Not worth paying that kind of money 💰.

There pyaaz kachori and daal Kachori are amazing, best I have had so far in the area. Avoid the khandvi. Even pav bhaji was really good. A decent place to buy sweets and fulfill your snack cravings. Yet to explore their full menu.

Rasmlai was below average. It seems it was packet rasmlai and they just selling it at higher price.Tables were dirty, we asked the person to clean the table, he half cleaned it.

You should have enough staff to do the things, the single guy was taking the order and there was big queue. Even for this minimal cleaning we had to wait for sometime..

Go for sweets, not at all for food. We tried chole bhature, Dal kachori and raj kachodi. Everything was below average

We were a party of 5 and we ordered several items. All of us got sick the same day. I can assure they don’t work with fresh ingredients. On top of that food also didn’t taste that good.

Update:
Beware of ordering sweets here. Almost everything is stale and moldy. I found mold on the served milk cake. Though they threw that piece on mentioning the mold, but another piece was served from the same tray.
The same day, rabri served with jalebi was stale and sour. Atleast when reported back, they accept their mistake and replace the bad stuff.

Old:
I love the kachori here. This is the only place I found which serves kachori with aloo sabzi (the typical desi style I know).
Aloo kachori has 2 kachoris with aloo sabzi for $9.99.
It is also famous for the fresh desi ghee jalebi (5 pieces for $6.99).
Caution: I found infestation on motichoor laddoos. Last time I tried motichoor here, they were the best I had in bay area. This time, found fungus on them. I told the owner and he did not even check the stuff. I wonder if he will remove the batch.
So, be cautious while having the sweets here.
