Thali here are exceptionally good with fresh chapati, 2 sabji, 2 dal, rice, sweet, papad and a drink.
I have been here twice and ordered thali both times, so can't comment on the rest of the menu but sabzi served in thali are good too (which are some of the Ala carte menu too)

I'm not an expert on Indian food, but I know what I like and I enjoyed my lunch quite a bit. First, I believe it's a full veggie restaurant. My friend and I had three items:
Chaana Sag, which is garbanzo beans, spinach, and herbs. Very tasty with just the mildest of mild spices. Quite tasty!
Second was Paneer Tikka Masala. Truly delicious. Creamy and rich. Cottage cheese squares, onions, and more delicious spices. Not spicy hot at all.
We matched these with two types of naan. Regular and garlic. I personally thought the garlic was the best I've had. Crunchy and soft at the same time. Loaded with delicious garlic. Perfect eating with those dishes.
You order on the app but unfortunately I have to report the service is very, very slow. For these basic items, probably took 20-25 minutes to receive. And we had to ask for the bill.
The lunch section was very small but not cramped. And there is plenty of parking. I did see some outdoor seating which may/may not have been theirs, and it looked like there might be an extension to the restaurant, perhaps for dinner or big parties, but I'm not quite sure.
I'm pretty sure I'll come back if I have the time, due to the long wait times.

Absolutely the worst service. Made an online order and they still take 20minutes after the promised time for a simple order. Highly unprofessional and I would stay away if you are trying to pick up a quick meal during a workday lunch. This happened twice. So clearly not a one off event.

I went to chat Bhavan express today We ordered aloo parata and it’s not cooked well.as well as so soft and it’s not tasty at all then we explain the person who takes the order and he says that it will be like this here and he not even concern about it and it’s very congested to seat. The way he replied is very odd I don’t suggest this place

Food: The Paneer Tikka Masala was very flavourful. It went well with the Garlic Naan. Paneer Wrap was okay, needed more sauce for me. Otherwise both were filling. All dishes are vegetarian.

Value: Prices were reasonable for the area at about $40 plus for 2 people.
We stopped at this place after many years for samosas to-go as we were passing through the area . So so disappointed !!
First they were very small for a whopping $2.50 each ! Second- barely any filling inside the very thick cover . Finally- the taste was 👎👎. It was just plain potato, sans flavor and spices.
I always assumed one couldn’t go very wrong with samosa in any Indian eatery in the Bay Area. I was clearly wrong.
Thankfully , there are multitude of really great Indian vegetarian chaat, snack and meal options in the area.

Loved the food and hospitality. Great food and the ‘rajdhaani train soup’ reminded me of the train soup from India!!
Our elderly parent was not feeling well and they were nice enough to bring a can of (complementary) lemonade without us asking them.
Appreciate the gesture and of course will come back for the food!
Very bad experience. We ordered one of their October Specials: Roadside Chhole Kulche and they brought it cold. Literally you could feel that it's been frozen. When confronted the server, he had the audacity to lie that it is originally served cold only. We also saw the frozen samosa empty boxes in their kitchen. Not sure what is the reason of their high rating!!!

Hi there is really bad they kept waiting to customers about 45 minutes or an hour they do this thing with everyone there is one guy who is on the reception he kept telling 5 minutes or 10 minutes and he keep telling a lie and he don’t know how to speak with customers and also I have seen that there are many DoorDash drivers come and they do same thing with them also I mean there staff is really bad and there customer service is zero I will not recommend to anyone go there 😡

Had the chaat bhavan snack combo, bombay vada pav, kofta curry thali with chai and chaas. Vada pav was good. Could be better if the chutney were given separately. The snack combo was very good. Thali was wholesome with 2 rotis, papad, sweet dish (gulab jamun). Service could be better because we had to ask for chai and extra roti multiple times.
I order takeouts here fairly regularly. At times, food turns out greasy. Hence 4 stars.
