Beef combo was high quality and delicious.
We were pleasantly surprised they also have beef tongue available off-menu.
Our waiter was friendly and attentive, we had a wonderful experience.

Absolutely incredible experience at Don Blanc! If you’re looking for a good place in Santa Clara, this is the spot. The quality of the wagyu and beef short ribs is unmatched. You can really tell they don't skimp on the grade of meat. Even the side dishes were fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend. Took the work from us bbq the meat ourselves they took the time to do it for us.

Very good Korean bbq with excellence service. Everything arrived quickly and was delicious. They brought us an extra plate of meat accidentally and comped us for the mistake without any fuss. Would definitely return.

Went here on my anniversary because I kept seeing videos of this place. I’m going to be straight forward, it’s come a time we need to be careful with all these influencers posting videos. If you search this up you see tons of videos but I feel it’s all hype. I got the combo b beef with pork jowl and the fried chicken. The meat itself was extremely good, tender, and flavorful. Sure they cook it for you which made the service great. We came for the dinner menu and I reserved a table at 5:30. We were the only people there for the first hour which felt a little odd. The kimchi soup was salty and the banchan was average. Again the meat good but for the price we paid it was almost $150 per person including tip. That is a very steep price but since it was a one time thing we learned now to not trust everyone that posts.

[+] Short rib was delicious.
[-] Dinner combo set didn't come with rice. That was odd.
[-] Kimchi in the bossam dish was semi-frozen with bits of ice sprinkled around.

Overall I thought it was OK. The semi-frozen kimchi was an unpleasant surprise.

4.5-star to be more exact. Visiting my brother in the area, I had a Korean BBQ combo for 2, pretty decent meat quality but nothing spectacular... Kimchi Jjigyu that came with the combo was just okay. However, the service was excellent, cooking the meat adjusting to our eating speed and being considerate, thank you 🙏. Good enough to come back and try their chef's special Korean dishes 👍

Lunch started at $15.. Galbitang lunch was below average... The Galbi was super chewy and look nothing like the photo in menu I can't really chew it. The banchan is not a lot of variety. There was 2 duplicate.

Not much services interms of refill etc

The visit here was awkward. We ordered a pork set and this is the first time I have seen a Korean BBQ place give a thick, pork chop thick, size piece of meat. The meat was tasty but not what I expected. The side dishes were great.

The awkward part was that when the l pork belly was delivered the waiter I guess was salivating and a bit of saliva dropped down onto the plate. Thankfully the meat was already on the grill. The wife and I both stared at each other. The waiter didn't acknowledge it at all and just left and he wiped his mouth while walking away, so we know he knew. It was awkward the whole meal because of that.

The waiter also came over to do the grilling himself which is something I really don't like at a Korean BBQ place.

We were there for lunch on Dec 28th.
All in all I would recommend staying away from the pork combo b if you are looking for standard BBQ fare.

Also for a BBQ place, having the lowest automatic tip be 20% is borderline criminal. Set the standard 15%.and don't make it weird for your patrons.

Great Korean BBQ restaurant. The server we had was excellent. He helped cook everything and answered all our questions about the food, how to tell when the meat is done and anything else. The meat is great quality where all the cuts were juicy and tender. I definitely recommend this place and to come with a group so that you can sample the various cuts of meat.

Amazing service, quality cuts of meat. We came in at 10PM Thur night and we were well taken care of. Music was hitting and the Korean dads in the corner slamming soju were a vibe. Kimchi was fresh and the brisket sauce was a perfect touch.

We had the beef set A with soybean stew and the rose tteokbokki. Soju cocktails were good and the staff took great care cooking the meat for us.
