Delicious!!!!
I ordered the two items combo with shredded beef tostados and chicken enchiladas. My honest first impression was that's a lot of food! And it tastes great too. The kitchen mistakenly sent out a chicken tostados instead of the beef one that I had ordered -- honest human mistake. The waitress was super nice about it and brought out a new beef tostados once I pointed it out. They even offered to replace the entire plate if I wanted that. Service was very fast.
I’ve been eating at El Caminito twice a week (one lunch and one dinner) since 1998. I recently discovered a menu item I had not tried before, the chili relleno Del Mar. It is absolutely delicious! And whereas most of their dishes come with about a tablespoon of shredded lettuce with French dressing, this one has a proper side salad. I love French dressing and El Caminito is the only restaurant I found in the bay area that serves it, so to be able to get it on a real salad is a treat. The presentation is the most appealing of any of the dishes I have tried on their menu and the flavor is simply wonderful. The service is excellent (Hi, Stephany, Andrea, Gloria and Gabriela!) and prices are reasonable. They keep winning Best of Bay Area awards from the San Jose Mercury News and it’s easy to see why. They also have an excellent catering program, so get your company to hire them for your next function!
Good service food 😋
I love this place! It’s the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever tried. I absolutely love the Swiss enchiladas—I could eat them every day and never get tired of them. My kids love coming here too. Plus, the service from Davy and andrea makes you fall in love with the place even more—they’re incredibly kind and attentive.
Been coming here for years and I always am impressed with everything! The food is great, the service is top notch, the atmosphere is always nice. It is not surprising that this restaurant has been a Sunnyvale success… they have it figured out to a science!
The menudo is like my mamas. Beat around

Ordered the shredded beef tostado bowl. Enough leftover for another day. It tasted so good. My husband loved the menudo.

Actually cero star. Not at all recommended. I came to visit this place and the food is terrible!!!! These people think that by hanging a sombrero on the wall, putting pots with plants and playing Mexican ambient music they can call themselves a Mexican Food Restaurant, of course not!!!! The food is bad, it is frozen and heated in a microwave, it has no flavor, the waitresses are rude and unfriendly, they serve you reluctantly and the food is expensive. I would not go back again.
