Just discovered this place! Didn't know it was so close to work. It's like a little hole in the wall. What makes it a great place is their stuff is fresh. They make their own dumplings there too and you can probably watch them from outside making them. Their food tastes so good and service was super quick. We were expecting to pay a lot but the prices here were reasonable. Will definitely come back!

The taste is ok, the store is in an old looking building and the service is not very good.

Food looked good but was not that good. Only thing that was, was the garlic bread rolls. Can't say much about the atmosphere because we just picked it up.

Wide selection of Chinese dumplings and Xiao Long Bao. Very delicious and authentic. Will be our kitchen for next few days.

The salt and pepper shrimp is to die for. It's so good and fresh, yum yum. I also like XLB but not the Shanghai pan fried soup dumplings. The Shanghai pan fried soup dumplings was way too doughy and not much filling. Still, I gave 5 stars because of the best salt and pepper shrimp and XLB.

Hidden off a main road Epic Dumpling proves to be a formidable hole in the wall experience featuring handmade fresh dumplings and Chinese cuisine. The parking situation can be tricky here as the main lot is low capacity for the number of businesses there are. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a friendly server who guided me to a table right away. Ordering is easy to do here through their QR mobile ordering system. We tried their XLBs which were steaming hot with a juicy umami broth and light doughy wrap. Their beef pancakes were okay but next time I would opt for their marinated version. The basil chicken was very saucy in a good way with plenty of basil mixed in. The shanghai pan fried dumplings somehow did not look pan fried at all but irregardless were tasty with a juicy filling. This place is family style with large portions all at an excellent value proposition. Prepare to share and indulge with friends and family. Dimsum looks to be served all day here which is a plus! Their tea is amazing by the way with it being light, aromatic and mildly sweet.

Highly recommend the dan dan noodle and shanghai crispy pork buns. My favorite things to get here for takeout.

Epically low food quality, epically bad service and epically expensive! One of the worst dumpling in Bay Area, beef noodle soup and Shanghai Pork Pan Fried Soup is laughingly bad and strange. Ninja style service, the waitress either thinks we are transparent or she thinks she is invisible and we cannot see her, everyone's cup are empty and she walks by our table (quickly) several times without bothering to look and when she is not around us, it is impossible to find or flag her. The place serves dim sum but when we asks the waitress for soybean milk, she gives us this look that seems like we are crazy or stupid. This is interesting because this is the first time I am told restaurant in Bay Area that does not serve soybean milk with dim sum and I have gone to many many restaurants. The only good thing going for this restaurant is that they are near rock bottom in terms of food, price and service and it is hard for them to go any lower or may be NOT. For better food, price and service, I would suggest Shanghai #1 in Cuptertino, or Old Town Shanghai in Sunnyvale, or Soong Soong in San Jose and many others and all of them serve soybean milk.

We got the Chocolate Xiao Long Bao 6 pieces for $9.99. The taste was good, but it costs way too much for the amount of food we are getting. $1.67 per dumpling! I would be happy to give 5 stars if they lower the price. The environment/decor also isn't all that special. So I am not sure how they are justifying the price.

Poor in-person service. Uncovered sneezing while food being prepared. Average food overall, steamed rice was great though.

This is one of my favorite dumpling places. Most of the time I go there for a lunch with mini me since we both like XLB dumplings. But sometimes we go there for a dinner after an event so we'll have a warm food to end the night m. This place offer delicious comfort foods with casual atmosphere Their chili sauce is delicious also. The staff are efficient. The hot tea is free of charge which is a nice plus. The parking space is sharing with other businesses but you won't have problem with the parking. Our favorite orders are: H01 XLB, H03 pan fried bun (XLB in a bun), E09 Beef chow fun (a bit too oily but otherwise it'll too sticky) , and C01 pork and shrimp wonton fresh noodle soup (which sometimes come without noodle but instead more wonton. The price is good and they accept CC payment. I come here at least once a month.

I was craving dim sum so i decided to try this place. The reason i ordered from here is because the prices were fair and they had many other options outside of dim sum or dumplings. I usually like to have some type of noodle dish or rice dish to accompany my dim sum. They have a couple different fresh noodle dishes that kept catching my eye but i settled on Dan Dan Noodles. I've had different versions of this dish from different places and this one was pretty good. The noodles were super bouncy and perfect. The flavor was on the sweeter side, not spicy and not very peanut-ty (which I personally prefer). The portion was huge. I was actually surprised by how much they give you. I also ordered spicy wontons, har gow and siu mai. They were all really good. The hot sauce was super good and actually spicy. I will definitely be trying more items from here in the future. Overall great experience for me today

This place was pretty empty, but it seems like a lot of people do order take out. Thanks to it being empty, we were able to quickly get seated at any table we wanted. Honestly this place is a hidden gem. Maybe not the BEST Chinese place I ever had, but it satisfies all my cravings and also there are some unique twists to some of the dishes. For example, the chive pancake was quite unique and I've never had anything like it. There were some shrimp and the outer part was very crispy. The eggplant was super bomb, and the cucumber was quite garlicy but still delicious. The dumplings were pretty good, and overall, everything tasted satisfactory. As it's close by, I'm definitely coming back another time!
