The Vietnamese Coffee was really good, it was sweet and smooth. The atmosphere was a mix of casual yet upscale which was comfortable. The orange chicken was light and fluffy and not too overly crunchy with a soft and balanced flavor. The fried rice on the side paired well in quality. Serving sizes were also generous and filling. Nice spot to have come to.
We booked Ginger Cafe as our wedding caterer and their services helped the day/night run so smoothly. We received so many compliments on how good the food was from so many guests. It was easy to communicate and we were able to stop by the restaurant to do a tasting before booking them as our food vendor. We had passed hor d'overves and a family style meal served by ginger cafe staff. It was really important to us that the food was good during our wedding and we couldn't be happier.
My new place to go for good singaporean fusion.
I think I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant! Their chicken and beef are so tender and flavorful and their serving size is generous. They even have chicken bao and chicken shumai. Minus one star because they charge $4 for tea, $7 for white rice, calculate the tip AFTER adding tax, and for not having fortune cookies or something else with the check. Will definitely come back.
Kudos to our very attentive and kind server Gyan.๐๐๐
I order from here regularly. But ate at the restaurant for the first time. Lot of vegetarian and gluten free options. Food is good ๐ especially the variety of Bao ๐ฏ
Love the burn garlic fried rice! Service was also great ๐
Good was salty and not good, quite expensive for the quality of food! Very good service!
Always, for years, great attentive service.
The food was okay but didn't really hit the mark. Ordered a tamarind seafood pot. Lots of seafood but zero tamarind taste. Very sweet. Maybe because they had pineapples floating in the soup. My partner had a orange chicken. He mentioned his chicken was mostly breading.
The place is nice inside. It was just a little too quiet. We were there on a Monday or a Wednesday. We came in and one table was finishing. We were pretty much the only ones there. This was around 7:30-8 pm.
Kind of expensive for the food taste.
My family loves Ginger Cafe. The service at this restaurant is unmatched. Extremely friendly and attentive. I'm sad I forgot to take pictures of our our meal, but the presentation is wonderful and portions are generous. Our favorites are the bbq pork bun appetizers, Sweet and Sour pork, Green bean chicken and the Special Chow Fun. The Sweet and Sour & Pork Buns, and Chow Fun are AMAZING!!!
Recently I carelessly lost an item (probably dwntn Sunnyvale) after trying to rush to the Xmas Train event. I called the restaurant and the staff went through great lengths to help me find it. Even willing to call staff and search restaurant for item. I'm appreciative for tremendous efforts made. Not many restaurants would put forth this amount of care and concern. Superb Customer service.
I'm not sure why this place isn't packed with people at all times it really is among the top three Chinese restaurants in the area. Please give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Ginger cafe is lovely inside. It has a wide ranging menu that includes dim sum, soups, American Chinese favorites, and some more traditional dishes. The service is always prompt and pleasant. We've enjoyed everything we've tried so far. My personal favorite is the basil tofu, which is on the lunch menu and can also be made at dinner. Plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
