Mayan Kitchen offers tasty food and good service, but there are a few things to be aware of. Ordering was a bit challenging for me since the menu felt somewhat chaotic, with too many “top seller” or highlighted items competing for attention.

Our team visited Mayan Kitchen in Sunnyvale’s downtown on Murphy Avenue for lunch. One standout positive was their surprisingly large selection of vegan options, which can be hard to find in Mexican-style cuisine. This made it a convenient spot for a group with varied dietary preferences.

The food was cool and done okay but perhaps a bit sloppily served and not the easiest to eat. Noise levels are very high.

Cocktails are great, especially the non alcoholic ones!
