Off The Rails Brewing Co.

I can’t rate this establishment for food or drink. OnIy service. I sat at the bar for 15 min and couldn’t get my drink order in. There were only 4-6 other customers in the place at the time. This was a Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm. First time there, probably will not try again.

Here for trivia. We ordered starters: pretzel bites and onion rings. Do NOT order the pretzel bites, it comes with 6 tiny bites for $10. The onion rings were good

They're alright, nothing special, nothing great. Just okay for their food

Got there a little after it opened, service was incredibly slow. Food was warm at best and took FOREVER coming out of the kitchen.

It was a pretty big location and in an excellent spot. The beer menu wasn't super large, but it did have a bunch of style options. I ordered their Hazy IPA and it was fine, kinda sweet for me though I think. I'd probably go back to try some food if in the area, but wouldn't make it a destination trip.

Seems nice, but hours aren’t as posted

We went in and it wasn’t very busy since it was a little early but not once did the waiter come and check on us or try and refill my drink. They also brought out my meal once everyone else had finished their meal. Definitely not good service and the calamari appetizer was rubbery.

Came in here for a team happy hour on a Mon evening - there was about 10-12 of us. First time for me (and probably last time).

Service was not good - my expectation, esp given that we were a big group, was that they would be really trying to cater to us. But not really - servers only came to the table if they were dropping something off. Never really checked-in to see if food or drinks were ok or if we needed anything. Didn't really care or at least it felt that way!

Food was meh - not too many veggie options. I ordered black bean burger and it was extremely greasy i.e. you couldn't pick it up w/o having your fingers completely buttered up! Only other veggie appetizer was fries or onion rings or nachos. Servers (as mentioned before) were not very helpful in guiding our selection.

Last - beer - being a brewery, this place is super disappointing. Limited choices and not very exciting line-up. Only one lager on tap and very few selections in each category. Again servers had no clue and provided no help in selection.

Overall, I would NOT recommend this place for anything - take your business elsewhere - chances are you'll get better service and probably better food and beer there vs. here!

A couple pints and some finger foods ... all of it was pretty good. In particular, the mushroom empanadas were very tasty. The chicken wings were also good but they are basted in that thick, sticky, sweet sauce, so you gotta like that. Fried calamari was light and fluffy. Beers on tap of several varieties.

Service was fast to start, but we ordered the calamari in the "second batch" and they took 20+ minutes. Not cool. But this has a real brew pub atmosphere and there are games on the tv's. Pretty cool hangout spot.

Burgers were mid (and that's being generous), fries were super bland, beer was flat, and they did not have a lot of their menu available. They did not get our orders correct - not bringing out things we ordered and bringing out incorrect items. They also did not provide napkins or utensils for some reason. Wait staff was very inattentive and gave us no attention the entire time.

Additionally, we got pooped on multiple times (there is a large crow problem). Pic is some of the bird poop on my pants. Most every other restaurant here has umbrellas or overhead coverings - but not these terrible people. And to top it off they are evil NIMBY's who have to tell me to be against affordable housing when I just want to eat. Never patronizing here again and regret going here in the first place. One of THE WORST dining experiences I've had in a long time.

I originally sat outside, but the chairs were covered in bird poop. There was no umbrellas to protect you. When the hoard of crows rested above the trees, their feathers fell down and landed in my drink. The staff was barely to non existent. 30-45 mins each time I could get them to notice me. It took them an hour to get me utensils. I damn well could’ve left and they wouldn’t have noticed. The food is something similar to cafeteria food in high school. Little to no flavor. The only redeeming quality was the location off Murphy. Very scenic.

Service is good.

Baja black bean burger is a lot richer than the description. In addition to the garlic aioli and cheese, it has caramelized onions and is on a buttered pan-griddled brioche bun. The side salad is a good sized portion - mixed greens, cherry tomato, cucumber and pickled onions. The dressing is a strong, balsamic vinaigrette.

Don't drink anything on tap here

Omg omg food is soooooo good. And the beer they brew is on point. Also great customer service and super friendly
