Just met a friend over lunch, she had sada masala dosa and I had onion rava masala dosa. The dosa was ultra crispy so it felt like eating papad. The rava masala had a mix of crunchy and non crunchy parts - which was not bad, but made it difficult to eat. Ideally it would have some crunch and some softer parts. Anyways, the chutneys were meh, sambhaar was meh. the filter coffee was meh as well. Can't help but compare to Madras cafe, which is better is all these aspects.
I highly recommend trying this place out for South Indian food. It's a no frills place that gets the basics right but I wish they updated their menu to be accurate: for eg on the menu they say that combo meals are not available for dinner, but in actuality they are. Or that the dosa of the day is not really a thing even though it's on the menu. The atmosphere could be better too.

The experience we had with this restaurant is mixed.
First of all the food was good. We had veg biriyani, onion uthappam, mixed vegetables porotta, masala dosa, porotta and veg curry.
Service was terrific. We waited there for more than half an hour to get the first dish and there is another 10 mins each waiting to get other items. At the last they missed one item and when we say that, a person with spects ( looks like manager) come and saying,...
