I'm Thai, and I think this restaurant is underrated. This place has one of the best pad kee mow (drunken noodle) and papaya salad in the south bay area! And they can really make them very spicy per request.

During Covid, i had a team who had to go into the office. We would get the same dish from multiple Thai places to do taste testing. We did Thai Basil and two other local Thai places. We did multiple curries, pad see ew, pad Thai, tom kha and fried rice. Thai basil won every time. Kind people, great food. Decent prices. A gem in Sunnyvale.

We were a group of 10 colleagues, went to this restaurant. We ordered vegetarian fried rice medium spicy, spicy eggplant. They were not that spicy and the rice item didn't have enough salt. We wanted to order dessert but they had only sweet sticky rice with mango option. Overall food was ok.

Nothing bad, but everything good enough... Food is fine and tasty enough, since Thai food is hard to do badly, but it pales in comparison to other thai food I've had. Prices are reasonable, but portion size is on the smaller side. Service was not terrible, but not polite, and quite slow. All in all, not too bad, but not super impressed either...

Ordered Tom Khai because I like mushrooms
There was no mushrooms in the soup like the description. Also the chicken Pad See Hew tasted like shrimp. Will not go here again.

The papaya salad with a spice level of medium spicy was quite spicy. The vegetarian curries were great. The drunken noodles were bland and oily.

Highly recommend! The food was delicious. We had Spring Rolls, Thai Beef, Panang Curry, and fried bananas with ice cream and would recommend all of them. The owner, Jua, and his wife were so hospitable and kind, and we always had what we needed. Parking in the garage across the street was free after 6 pm. The restaurant is on a small strip of fun places to walk.

Poor service weighed down otherwise well-done Thai cuisine.

One of the best restaurants in Sunnyvale downtown. They had good flavorful food. The folks were very friendly and gave good suggestions. They have good vegetarian options.

The food is very average at best but prices are very high. There are better and more reasonable priced places. I think. They are charging for the high rent and location.
