I recently had the pleasure of dining at a cozy Nepalese restaurant, and it turned out to be a delightful culinary journey. From the moment I stepped in, the warm aroma of spices and the gentle hum of traditional Nepali music set the tone for an authentic experience.
Very rare to find an actual restaurant these days where the establishment put in an effort to create an ambience.
The service was prompt. We ordered the regular chicken momos which was absolutely delightful. The sauce tasted great, the chicken was cooked well inside the momo. We also ordered the fish jhol which was also fresh and unique in flavor. The portion size was great for 2 people and we were very satisfied.
Would definitely go back...

Fantastic cheap eats here. As someone who grew up on the east coast I adore Himalayan food and would frequently go to Nepali and Tibetan restaurants in the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens, NY (unfortunately, have yet to visit Nepal itself). The Bay Area has excellent Indian and Pakistani food, but I haven't come across any great Himalayan restaurants. Until now. The thalis here are authentic and the pickled vegetables are amazing (but please include some hot sauce)....
