This is the best pan-fried soup dumpling I’ve had in the Bay Area. The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. The scallion bun is packed with scallions, making it a must-try for scallion lovers. Overall, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely visit again.

Best pan-fried pork bun I've ever had in the US. Authentic and delicious! Green onion pork bun was tasty as well.

Disappointed with the service
Nice place - definitely a 4.4/4.5
The automated service by scan code makes it feel a little impersonal… but efficient.
Great XLB really enjoyed them. The beef soup (红烧牛肉面) was ok - a bit salty but beef was nice.

Decent Chinese Xiaolongbao restaurant. They have xiaolongbao and dumplings and some other dishes, but I mainly came here for the xiaolongbao. I ordered a lot of food, 3 xiaolongbao, pork and crab, one pan fried bun, a pot of beef and tomato soup, and a cucumber app. Overall I would say food is delicious. I really liked the beef in tomato soup. Xiaolongbao was good too. The pan fried bun is a bit disappointing. But the service is very fast. Your food came out quickly to keep you busy. There is not much service to be honest, you order on your phone and pay with your phone, minimal human interaction, which I don’t mind. Highly recommend.

High prices but best pan fried soup dumplings i have had in america. Not too doughy, good soup. Non dumplings dishes also excellent, but an afterthought. Few tables and only one large one. Did i mention high prices? Not used to 40pp++ for a shop like this although the high quality and very clean shop does make up for it
Ordered beef noodle soup and fried chicken rice noodle for take out. Noodles are very yummy. Will come back to try out other dishes.

Pay attention to business hours as they close from 3pm - 5pm.
Order is placed via QR code per table.
We visited around 1230pm and were seated right away as the restaurant was about half full. I love it when there is no wait. Seems to be busier during the evening hours.
Every item we ordered was flavorful and delicious. The portion size was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. I definitely wanted to try more items, but my stomach didn't allow more room. We also wanted to enjoy a boba from next door before heading home. I highly recommend that as well.
The staff/service was just OK. My friend was having trouble placing the order via QR code, and we were brought a tablet to do so. She asked a question, and the staff was not very helpful or interested in being of service. Very bland encounter.
This would be the only complaint because the food was the treat.
The restaurant next door, Noodle Talk, seems to be owned by the same owners. That will be the next place to try when in the area.
Parking: It can be difficult to find as there are many businesses in this shopping center.

Loved the Vegetarian Dumplings and Wonton . Food Quality is really Good.
I was with my three-year-old niece, who is a bit picky about food, so I asked her what she wanted for lunch. She specifically requested "juicy dumplings," which was amusingly precise. Since we were in Palo Alto heading home to SJ, I googled a place and found one with good ratings and a clean interior.
It was just us around lunchtime with a mostly full restaurant of kids and their parents. The parking lot was packed, which made parking quite a challenge as we drove around in circles. I don’t know if there was an event, but there were lots of kids, possibly from a nearby gymnastics facility.
After finally finding parking, we ordered pork dumplings and bao, both steamed. My niece didn't like the bao mostly because she’s not familiar with them, but I found them delicious. Her favorite part was the butterfly buns, which were cute and fun for her. There are no fillings or flavor to them.
The ordering process was convenient—you just order and pay on your phone without leaving the table, although the lack of personal interaction made the service feel less personable.
Overall, I loved the food quality and the option to order smaller quantities, which is great when dining with a toddler. The prices were fair, and I would definitely return with family and friends despite it being a bit far from our home in South San Jose. Good dumpling places are rare in our area, so it’s worth the commute.

Came here at 3pm, they were supposed to be open based on hours of operations. Greeted by rude employee who said they were “closed”. Update your hours so people don’t waste time and gas driving to your restaurant, and maybe offer the employee some training on basic courtesy and manners.
