Absolutely yummy ice cream and great service

Espresso is amazing and ice cream is very good. the only problem is because price didn't write on menu.

It was amazing with an un realistic amount of options. I would recommend coming here as fast as possible

A cost corner shop with a menu options ranging from ice creams, sorbets, beverages and Açaí bowl. Their huckleberry ice is a must try. Overall a good experience and flavor options.
They have outdoor seating space and is right on the street, easy accessibility and convenience if coming from the beach.

The ice cream is good, but the prices aren't listed on their menu at the counter. Maybe it's just me, but I never purchase anything blindly without knowing the price. And I shouldn't have to ask, it slows down the entire process as I now have to make decisions at the counter instead of ahead of time while waiting in line. Price transparency, please. Otherwise it just screams shady.

Soft serve was icy and 9 dollars for the small. Stick to Truckee Ice Creamery

Great service and delicious silted caramel ice cream

We walked over to this shop during our Lake Tahoe trip in September 2025.

It’s a cute ice cream shop with outdoor seating. We ordered some ice cream and a pumpkin spice latte. It was a little too sweet for me but my group liked their ice cream. The ladies working there had wonderful customer service.

We walked across the street to eat our ice cream with a view of the lake.

Perfect place to puntuate a prime fall day in Tahoe City! Fro Yo, ice cream, mochas all really good!l

Ordered a pistachio soft serve and affogato.
The soft serve was already melting but tasted good and the affogato had the worst tasting espresso i have had in recent memory - had to toss it out.

The best milkshake on the Lake? For sure! I got the salted Carmel mixed with peanut butter chocolate and couldn’t have been happier with the result. The owner sources premium ice cream and doesn’t skimp on the portions. I topped it all off with whipped cream and can’t wait to have it again. Super friendly staff as well! Thanks Poppys!

Wow, I think they may have been making the ice cream, literally churning the butter to cream while we waited to order. Waited in line for 10min and it never moved. People actually got out of line in front of us! If you do not have 30-45min to spare this is not the place for you!
