River Ranch Lodge & Restaurant

The best part of our meal was the river and the Brussels sprouts appetizer. The rest of the meal, service and food, were fair. For the cost, I would hope for increased flavor in food, served at appropriate temperature, and enthusiastic wait staff.

Food and service good, but the level of mold odor in the air made the experience dreadful.

The duck breast was overcooked and very tough. Otherwise, the food was very good, my scallops, the stroganoff, the soup we're all very good!

Beautiful location on the river. Aan was a friendly, fun & knowledgeable server. Full of spunk. The manager was attentive & courteous. Servers were professional & the food was yummy!

We love the old Tahoe ambiance. Beautiful watching the river flow by. Food was good and service was very friendly. We had a lovely evening!

Great service! There was a big party being served when we were there. Our server, Bailey, was really attentive to us and made it really enjoyable.

We have been to River Ranch many times. As before the setting, the service and dog-friendly welcome was very excellent. The wine choices were also good. But I the food - calamari, Caesar salad and burgers were barely edible. I remained hopeful that each course would be better, but the opposite was true. The calamari we cold and tough, the Caesar salad uninspiring and the burgers cold and overcooked. Fortunately, the dessert actually was good so the evening ended as best it could. Soooo disappointing as there were few diners there so really no excuses

Super casual place but the ambiance was great! We sat by the river and the sound of the water made the eve extra enjoyable. Food was good and priced reasonably.

Service staff and front of house are exceptionally rude. Deck is dirty and full of junk. Food poor. A lot of google reviews saying the same. Used to be the best place but now relying on passed good reviews. Also a lot of credit cards fully lost. Last night again wrong card given to wrong customer . Overall such a shame as wouldnt take much to get it great again.

We had a great dinner on the deck looking at the river. Food was good, service great and lots of fun people who had just rafted and were pumped!

We had a great night and dinner at River Ranch Lodge. The food was wonderful, service was outstanding, and overall experience was terrific!

We had a wonderful table right by the rushing river that was absolutely beautiful and our food was delicious. Hats off to the staff and manager for going out of their way to help us find a parking spot.  Definitely recommend!

One of my favorite resorts! Quaint, rustic, wonderful service, amazing views, delicious food and overall ambiance. The Truckee River and rafting is a blast!
