The Lake Tahoe area has never been the easiest place to find vegan food, so when we discovered this sushi bar, we were thrilled! A whole page of vegetarian options, more than half of which were also vegan. The Bahama Mama is my favorite. Great service, too!

Ordered this place for takeout and they forgot 4 rolls and still have yet to refund me when they said they would 3 weeks ago. The sushi was terrible as well and left people on our vacation sick. Flies everywhere in the place as well.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TAKE OUT!!!...After ordering, I was told food would take 30 to 40 minutes to be ready. I agreed to wait for this time. When I came back after 40 minutes,..I was told 15 minutes more from the waiter... Then when I came back I was told again I need to wait another 15 minutes more.They kept me waiting for an hour and a half until the food was almost ready... . I said, why so long...one of the chefs said..( not sure if he was the owner).. the people dining in are taken care of before any take out orders are prepared...and to top it off he said take out is a premium service and it's our perogative if we want to serve you... who says such rude things like this after you have already given them your money. Telling me upfront their priorities, I would not have ordered at all. The attitude towards handling this situation is purely unacceptable.My sincere review is sushi was okay...but the worst part is their attitude and rudeness towards handling this situation with me. They should take off take out service if they are not willing to do it!!

One of our favorite sushi places!!! So many yummy rolls- even a whole page of vegan/vegetarian rolls! Favorites were Presto Maki, I Dream of Jean, Bahama Mama, Samoa, Pleasure Point, and Sunrise. Only roll we didn’t love was the poke roll, but still wasn’t bad.

Terrible. The place is old and dirty. Service was bad and there were no even that many customers. Menu is very limited. I don't normally talk about the bathrooms but these people never heard about cleaning the bathroom felt like. Disgusting.
Popped in for an early dinner with a friend and were greeted by friendly staff who welcomed us in and served us quickly but didn't rush us. Was amazed at the number of roll options they had, some classics and several unique options, we tried a mix of both and weren't disappointed but also not blown away. Would consider this a great option if you're in the mood and looking for good service. Lots of Japanese decor so the owner must have visited the country many times, you can tell they love the culture.

I'm in Tahoe City. I have a family member who is sick. I needed cooked rice but I'm in a hotel. Dave the sushi chef gave me rice twice and wouldn't accept payment. I was in a tough spot and they took care of me. Their kindness made me cry as I walked away with a huge bowl of rice.
