I checked with a few of my friends that live in Lake Tahoe, and the consensus was Wolfdale's is the best restaurant in the area. And it lived up to expectations. Both the service level and the food quality was outstanding. Highly recommended!
There is lovely ambience but really only in a small area of the dining spaces. We found overall that our reception by hostess and table was disappointing. We eventually got to a table we were comfortable in ( the outdoor table we were initially seated in was overlooking the parking lot). But once reseated we were “ abandoned” to finally be found by our waiter (who was personable and did a great job). This is a “very high-end” restaurant in Tahoe City. Given the prices...
