I just started eating at Frankie's again. I went to the restaurant regularly many years ago, but I moved. I am so glad that friends recommended it recently. The food is unusually good. My Italian mother said the meatballs were the best she has tasted at a restaurant in a long time. The service at Frankies is as good as it gets. I've been there with a large group lately, and the servers went out of their way to accommodate us, especially Richard. Their patio is perfect for warm weather.
Appetizers and food is great very authentic Ambience is very relaxing, enjoyed every minute! Service is great per usual I'll never stop coming here for Italian food Lionel you're the man! Keep up the good food and great customer service!

Worst foodand service ever! Used to be great before Covid but now awful! Freezing cold inside! Small coffee cups! Cold angel hair with garlic, cold soup and too much pepperoni in Italian salad! Stick to Maria's in encino or fabberchnis in tarzana for Italian lunch!

The service was mediocre and the food was even lower class than the service. I will not be attending anymore soirées from here. The pour wasn't over it was down undah. And underneath it's (the server's) pants was literally underwear.

We took our friend/neighbor, Dianne, out to dinner for her birthday, and we had a wonderful meal! Everything was delicious, the service was great, the staff was friendly, and overall, it was a very lovely evening! I highly recommend their Chicken Marsala and Mushroom Ravioli (Dianne's pizza was good too). 'Great Italian food!!!
I've passed by this restaurant over a hundred times, thinking it was just a pizza and pasta place. They actually have quite a selection of authentic Italian dishes here, including several Veal dishes, which were delicious!

Have come here twice now with my father and the food is just delicious! The chicken Parmesan is so good and this last time, I had the Loco and it was amazingly tasty! The garlic bread is to die for!! The ambiance is lovely and the service is wonderful!

We came for dinner around 6PM. Parking is easy peasy as it's a shared lot with plenty of spaces around. Frankie's Italian Kitchen is surprisingly spacious both inside and under their covered patio out front. We opted to sit inside but they do have heaters in the patio if it gets too cold outside. Having never been here before and unsure of what to get, we kept it simple - 3 meatballs in marinara sauce for an appetizer and 14" medium pizza with pepperoni & pineapple. They served complimentary garlic rolls while we waited. The garlic bread was nice and soft. The meatballs were a good size and tasty. The pizza was pretty good so all the food we tried hit the spot! The servers were all very nice and attentive. They were Johnny-on-the-spot to refill waters and clear the tables from unused plates/utensils. While they were always around to provide anything you needed, they weren't hovering or rushing you in any way which was nice. Good service goes a long way! The only minor complaint is that the front of the restaurant kinda had a weird/strong smell from the kitchen, so if you eat inside try not to sit at the first few tables. Other than that, Frankie's is pretty good casual Italian dining! It seems to attract an older crowd. The men and women's restrooms in the back are single-person and well maintained.

Although I've always been happy with the food. I was there on a Saturday evening, and I left my hat. I called to make sure that they found it. They said they did find it and they would put it aside for me. When I returned a day later, they said that they no longer have the hat ( this is very suspicious) the hat, walk out by itself or do one of the employees who liked the hat keep it. If I don't receive my hat back, not only will they have lost a client for life and I am a pretty regular person there, but I will tell everyone I know to not visit them and I will send them a bill to replace it I will not remove this negative review And I will ask others to place negative reviews Because I believe that this was malicious

They go beyond a typical restaurant when it comes to service. The mushroom ravioli was great, including the dessert Tiramisu.
