Maneli Restaurant - Persian & Mediterranean Food

The hours of business are incorrect on their site. They're closed on Sundays which by definition makes it not open 7 days a week as listed on their website! ? They're open half a day on "some" days (which half and which day? It's a mystery! ?) This is a very amusing way of running a business. If we ever find out when they're actually open and eat there, we'll be able to review the food.

by far the best Koobideh in USA, very similar to koobideh you get in Iran; the difference is in Iran, they have the advantage of adding fatty lamb to the mix to make it taste better; here, Mr Reza makes it with beef only and gets the same texture and taste, it is such an art; huge kabab, yet fluffy and tasty and juicy! amazing; we have tried many places in California, and nobody can make koobideh, Maneli's by far the best. I just wish they started the music going again.

I love this place, albaloo polo , koobideh and mahiche are y favorite; i think the best in LA.

My sister in-law last night had Aniversey party the food was great the service was awesome and the owner reza is beautiful sol and professional business man from now on I know where to go to have good persian food i recommended try it

Some of the best Persian foodI've ever had!! I got the chicken kebab that came with saffron rice, a roasted tomato, and other grilled veggies. There was also a small side salad. All of it was amazing! Highly recommend.

Maneli Restaurant is one of the best Persian restaurants in the United States by far. I have so many good comments and list some of them as below:1) The manager, Mr.Reza, is a very kind and customer friendly man.2) The Prices overall are very reasonable.3) The Cornish Hen Kabob ( Kababe Joojeh) was so excellent score: 100/100.4) The Baghali Polo with Lamb Shank (Mahiche) was so unique here, good smell and taste, large portion: score: 100/1005) The Zereshk Polo with baked chicken was so tasty, large portion, score: 100/100When I have some food in my mind to try I usually call in advance to give the chef a heads up to increase the quality of my food.

This is one of those occasions when you need more than 5 stars to do the justice. I would give 10 stars to this restaurant and it is our go to persian restaurant in the area now. We went there for lunch and the portions were as generous as dinner portion, with fresh ingredients and everything was absolutely delicious. Not to mention the very attentive and warm service. And the prices so reasonable for all the food we ate. Absolutely love this place

Staff were so nice and helpful! We'd never had Persian food before, and their cashier/server made recommendations, and even brought us free tea while we waited for our to-go order. Would definitely come back.

Maneli's kitchen is absolutely fantastic Persian food! It is the best I have had in Los Angeles and I'm very picky about Persian food. I could not rate this place any higher. Reza is a great and friendly owner who will go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your experience and food! Highly recommend. geniune and authentic food.

I've tried more than 80% of Persian restaurant in all over USA if you are a big fan of KOOBIDEH,THIS IS IT.Pretty much KOOBIDEH is ground beef, but it is important to know from what part of animal being used to give you the real taste,Go there with confidence and see Reza (the owner ) such a lovely host and enjoy the KOOBIDEH Taste like real koobideh.

Excellent food and great services

My friend and I stumbled upon this place and decided to have lunch here. Only 2 other couples were dining in the very large space but it was around 1 during the week. We met the owner, Reza, who could not have been nicer. We really enjoyed talking to him- such a warm and friendly man. As for the food, it was wonderful. We shared an appetizer plate that came with 6 salads/dips/yogurt and bread. We also shared an appetizer of rice and fesenjan which is the most delicious food of anything I have tried at a Persian restaurant. It is a sauce made with pomegranate and walnuts (I believe) and is heavenly. The food was more than enough for two people. Reza offered us some tea and we talked a bit more. Great food, great service, and wonderful human interaction-what more can you ask for in a restaurant? We definitely will return. Thank you, Reza!!
