Delicious. Wish this were close to home! I had beef ribs and the yams. The ribs were great, and a great change of pace! The yams were delicious and not overly sweet, thank goodness. The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive. Definitely recommend!
Red Roof BBQ is “ichi-ban” ( Number 1). \n\nWe go from N.Calif. to Arizona or Las Vegas several times a year. Red Roof is always our first choice (except Tuesdays— when they are closed.). \n\nReasonably priced, excellent BBQ including smoked ribs, brisket, chicken. Exceptional slaw — red and green (I prefer the red, but green is very tasty.)\n\nFunky interior decoration changed not long ago to include a nice little full service bar. This place was one of two restaurants in town specifically recommended by the front desk clerk at our hotel and now we know why. Not crowded late on a weekday night, wait staff very friendly, food was excellent. Pork ribs were amazing, fried catfish and fried okra were excellent, my husband said it was some of the best fried okra he had ever had. Highly recommend this place for BBQ!
