I lived on the east coast for the last two years and I dont know how they did it but the food at Amo got even better than it already was. The vegan al pastor & vegan carne asada seriously blows my mind. The salsas they make are incredible and this is EASILY the best taco I've ever had, vegan or otherwise. Even their dessert was stellar. If I don't get to eat here every day then life isnt worth living.

My first review was taken down for some reason which makes me even more disappointed in this place if I can't even share an honest review as someone who was simply a regular customer??? I have no relation to this business, I was never an employee, I was just someone who enjoyed their food sharing my experience so I don't understand the reasoning behind getting my review taken down besides just trying to cover for themselves. To restate what I had said before, this place has decided to add meat to their menu, and as someone who trusted and enjoyed this place very much this is extremely disappointing. Their food and customer service had already been in a steady decline for last few months, from consistently running out of stuff to rude employees who don't seem to care about treating customers with respect. However, as one of the only fully vegan restaurants in the area, I still wanted them to have my support. Starting off as a non-vegan establishment and adding options is one thing, but to go from a fully vegan restaurant to one who serves animal products is a complete contradiction of what they supposedly stood for. On top of that, they blame the vegan community for not "supporting them enough" when their most loyal and frequent customers were vegans who supported their business. This, and now attempting to silence my opinion, has really solidified that I will never be returning here again. I will keep leaving a review regardless of how many times they try to get it deleted for no reason.

What a joke, no longer a vegan restaurant. What a terrible decision, and you try to blame the "vegan community" because you need more support, you guys close randomly and always run out of ingredients constantly, I was coming here so much but finally was fed up because you don't know how to run a business, you can't just close at random times and days because you feel like it. Now you're going to be serving animal proteins? Haha what a disgrace.

Love eating here food is awesome only wish it was closer but the drive is worth it, tried this plate for the first time it was delicious and just look at the picture exactly as they advertise taste was spot on so flavorful almost forgot it was vegan

Location is in a cute little food court. There was live music playing outside when we went to go order. Ordering was easy and you get a buzzer afterwards so you can explore a bit around the restaurant while you wait for your food to be ready. The vegan flavors were all pretty good, and I highly recommend the taquitos. Don't come here if you are expecting the food to taste like meat (it doesn't), but do come here if you are either vegan or wanting to eat a meal that doesn't make you bloat or feel bad after (like me).

This is our favorite restaurant at Vail Headquarters! We love bringing friends to the Cookhouse and I always get the loaded fries with jackfruit. The food takes a bit to make but that is because it is genuinely fresh, quality food. They don't skimp on toppings and you will leave full. My husband enjoys their beef-less asada burrito and both of the salsas. They're knowledgeable in gluten free as well as vegan and I always feel safe eating there. Their staff is friendly and kind. We love frequenting here especially in warmer months while we enjoy the outdoor seating and letting our kids run around.

Let me preface this review by saying I am a carnivore through-and-through. The tacos here are really mind blowing and really thought out. You can really taste the ingenuity and passion it took to come up with these flavors and textures. I have these tacos at the farmers market at the promenade mall, And I've also frequented the restaurant in the vail ranch area. I can honestly say that every time I eat here I am not missing meat. It's a truly vegan restaurant where they do not even use lard in the tortillas. Their sauces are super good a good amount of heat compliments the tacos perfectly. At the actual restaurant I had the Jackfruit Carnitas Bowl and that is a dish that will be ingrained in me forever. Pictured I have the jackfruit taco and the hibiscus flower taco. Whatever sorcery he concoted to give the hibiscus this great texture and perfect seasoning I think everyone needs to try if you like tacos. Not to mention the owner Tommy is one of the nicest nicest people with a great positive energy. Come visit asap!
