Over reserved themselves the wait even with a reservation was ridiculous then the wait for a cook also ridiculous we didn't eat for well over an hour and a half after our reservation time even waiting for them to find a party of two to squeeze in at the table. this is time two of a two consecutive bad experiences at this particular location

Our chef and waitress was some of the best Benihana service we've ever had and have been going to Benihana for years! We were so impressed with our chef and waitress that it made our food and whole experience awesome! We couldn't stop talking about how great our chef and waitress were. They really took care of us and made our experience the best I think we've ever had at Benihana!

Overall the experience was good, however, we had to wait ONE HOUR PASSED our reservation time to be seated. I think that's pretty egregious.

It was Valentine's Day, and I had a 6pm reservation that I made several weeks in advance. We weren't seated until 6:50pm. It was fine after that, but being seated that late was a horrible start.

I had 5 pm reservations and I was not seated until after 6 pm. The portion sizes were for a five-year-old. The salmon was dry and I asked for my sauce to accompany the salmon. The chef did not add the sauce. I received my rice after my meal. The price was not worth the amount of food I received. I will not be returning.

They overbook to the max.We had reservations at 4;45 pm,and dint get seated until 6:00pm. We didn't get dinner until around 7:10. and we left by 7:30 very upset with how the night went. We enjoyed our chef.

Upon entering the doors were unsafe and I almost fell. Our 430 reservation became 520 seating and from there on it only seemed like chaos. The chefs coat was filthy and his hands looked unwashed. Food was overcooked and not presented as in previous visits. The rice wasn't even given to us until dessert came. I would not recommend this location.

I am writing to share feedback regarding our visit to your Temecula location on February 14th. My family and I chose to celebrate my birthday at your restaurant because Benihana is known for providing a fun and memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, our afternoon did not live up to those expectations. The day began on a disappointing note when my husband was denied an alcoholic beverage because he only had a temporary paper ID issued by the DMV. He recently renewed his driver's license and was provided official temporary documentation while waiting for his new license to arrive. While I understand the importance of following ID policies, the situation was frustrating given that he is 48 years old and clearly not underage. The issue was less about the alcohol itself and more about how the situation immediately dampened the celebratory atmosphere at the start of our afternoon. As the day continued, our experience did not improve. Our waitress repeatedly mixed up family members' orders and forgot several items throughout the meal. For a special occasion — it was just simply disappointing. We specifically chose Benihana because it is known for offering not just a meal, but an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, this birthday celebration did not feel special, and it left us questioning whether we would return in the future.

We had Chef Raymond and have gone to Benihana for many many years. Truly the best cooked food we've had at Benihana. Don't lose him!!! Also we had a new waiter Jose and he was fabulous! We all left very very Happy!

Went yesterday and had chef Gabriel and the food came out very good. Which I was happy for because the chef really does make the biggest difference. Our server was great. I would just recommend coming earlier before crowds because the wait can be long and waiting for chefs as well.

The wait was very long. Took nearly an hour before the chef came out to the grill and the venue wasn't busy or packed with customers. Sadly, the chicken was overcooked and certainly rubbery; for a pricey meal, it wasn't cooked well at all. It very much ruined the experience.

our reservation was at 7 pm, got there at 6:50 pm, was not seated until 7:30 pm, took an hour for the chef to come and cook our dinner, by the time we got to eat our actual dinner it was closer to 8:45 pm. At this point I was getting tired and didn't even eat half of my food. The prices were pricey. Our server lady was just as sweet as she could be. After all said and done, we won't be coming back. Was not worth the wait and cost.
