We had Ian as the Chef and the food was pretty salty. Also, he gave everyone 3 pieces of shrimp for the appetizer and had about 10-15 shrimp left over and said, "someone gave me way too many shrimps" then gave all of them to 1 of the girls at the table. Hello, we are all paying too and it should've been split up. Then he had too many vegetables and didn't bother to ask us if we wanted any. He went straight to that girl. I wanted to say something so bad but didn't want to cause a scene at the table. He needs to learn fairness. Benihana is not cheap so give us all a chance.

First off, amazing food. Our chef, Levi, definitely brought the energy but also outstanding cooking. Sarah and Samantha were our servers and they were super friendly and professional. That all being said, the check-in people need customer service training. Two young people standing there with apathetic faces and barely any effort. Also surprised there wasn't more seating in the front for guests to sit while they wait for their tables. Overall, the food made the experience but the restaurant needs improvement in their operations to make a return visit worthwhile.

We love coming to this location, considering it's the only one in the area. We've been coming here since it opened and they had a year when some issues occurred with slow service and waiting around for a chef took forever but now it's seems to be run a lot more smoothly. We did the thanksgiving special this year and we enjoyed it. We come at least 4 to 5 times a year.

Went for the Thanksgiving special ($39 meal). Server told us there was no Thanksgiving meal special, even though we confirmed it in the email sent to us from Benihana. Ended up eating Japanese Hibachi food.

They have added several new cuts of beef making the menu that much more attractive. Of course, they will always put whatever you want together for a combo, but most are on the menu. Our server Jason was extremely attentive and didn't miss a beat. No errors made at all! The gal at the bar was also amazing, as well as Trenten. I loved that they always had a thank you, have a nice evening to every single guest/group leaving. The food was very fresh and flavorful. Our Chef put on a great show and he was friendly and funny, and ensured all the meat was cooked as we wanted. This store is a winner and we will be back!

Our experience was great the only thing that was a bother was that our server was attending us and another tall female server bumped into our server while serving drinks to our party and ended up spilling my husbands drink (good thing it was water ) on the table and on him and the server that bumped did not apologize to my husband or to our server at all , just laughed it off and went to attend her table in front of us, good thing our server was a good CSR and apologized got a new water & had a discount applied without having to ask or call a manager for it . Thank you to our helpful server that wasn't even suppose to even be our server lol he took over our table that he started for another server . I'm glad he did.

Food and portion's are good. Had a 6pm reservation and didn't get seated until 645pm and didn't get any food until 715pm. The cost is also high but you do get a fun show while the food is being prepared. Overall a fun place if you're celebrating something, not a normal place to dine in!!!!

We had an Open Table reservation for 7pm. We got a text message from Open Table at 6:45pm saying, "Your table is ready. Check in now at Benihana - Temecula, CA." We arrived at the restaurant just before 7pm, and the person at the desk said they were running 45 minutes behind on reservations. It ended up being 8pm before we were seated, and the server was pretty inattentive (especially with beverage orders), even disappearing for about 30 minutes during our meal. Our entire meal experience took over 2 hours from the time we were seated to the time that we finished paying our check. The cook was wonderful, and the food was all great. I probably won't be going to this location again, definitely not with an Open Table reservation.

Malakai was awesome he gets 5 stars but our cook not so great first off the fried rice we paid an extra 8.00 for chicken fried rice that was not cooked in front of us no egg and tasted not so appealing the rice looked like soy sauce and had. O taste what so ever I could not even finish mine The the the veggies only came with 1 and all mushroom and onions. The meat all came late to the point my food was cold and could not eat it and some foods tasted plain not enough garlic butter. Half way through the cooking was already disappointed with the cook nothing entertaining and my food food became cold when waiting on the rest to be cooked. Arrived at and seated at 830 and didn't get to see anything till past 9 didn't and finished about 10 something. I took forever for our cook to arrive. Give me a reason to give 1 star to this place . I will not be coming back anytime soon

Everything was good. Our preparer was hard to hear. He spoke softly and there was a lot of noise in the restaurant. My husband ordered the steak and mushrooms but only got the steak and the same mushrooms as the rest of the table. We also asked for extra terriyaki sauce which we paid extra for but never got. Non of these things will cause us not to return.
