This was a surprise getaway experience for my boyfriend. He had no idea there is a whiskey distillery in the hills of Temecula so for him, this was a wonderful surprise. Given it was his first time visiting the valley of Temecula and then second of all, Jacqui at the distillery went above and beyond to make it explosive for him. He had a wonderful wonderful time and would definitely be back for a second of the smoked old-fashioned whiskey, I recommend this place for any of the ladies who want to treat their man.
Great ambiance, fun drinks, worth the reservation. Our party of 4 sat at the bar and it was fun!
Rough start as I felt we waited too long to be acknowledged. It was New Year's Eve but we did have reservations. Hostess never acknowledged us. We had to seek him/her out to say we were there with reservation. We eventually were seated. Drinks and food and service from that pick ton was good. No complaints. When I walk in the door I expect someone to acknowledge me and let me know they know I'm there. Other than that all good.
If you're looking for a true speakeasy, this is not it. Drinks and service were sub-par. Ambiance was nothing like a speakeasy. But, if you're at the winery and feeling like a cocktail over wine then sure...it's there.
Had reservations and go right in. They had a radio playing and it was turned up so loud we could barely have a conversation. The drinks were good, when we could get one. Service was horrible. Often we had to track down an employee to put in another order. Server seldom checked on us. They add 18% tip to groups of 6 or else I would've gave a lower tip. It's unfortunate, I was excited to try the distillery, but we won't be going back.
Excellent experience from the service, drinks and atmosphere! Will definitely go back and have already told my friends about it!
My wife brought me here last year and we absolutely loved it. Great food, service was on point, ambiance was fantastic as a moody, speakeasy style place. We came back last night to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was completely different. The place and the food was still great but the service was absolutely horrendous. We walked in, wasn't greeted and had to sit ourselves as the host seemed to be busy on his computer and the wait staff didn't even acknowledge us. We sat at the bar which wasn't cleaned off, and the Zoe the bartender said hi, wiped off the mess and walked away. No interaction, no welcome, no glad to have you here. We had to ask for water, we had to ask for dinner menus, we had to say we're ready to order. WE had to get her to do HER job as she seemed so disinterested in being there. We felt completely ignored the entire night while other guests sitting at the tables were regularly attended to. Mind you, there were THREE bartenders behind the bar and my wife and I were the only ones sitting there. Not okay and I'm not sure we'll be back if that's the level of service that's provided.
Excellent on-point moody speakeasy. Cooper was friendly and took the time to listen and learn what our unique taste buds desired. Cooper did an outstanding job with a perfectly mixed set of drinks to our unique tastes.
We had reservation and got seated right away, food was delicious server friendly the only complaint is that they take extremely long to get your drinks (we got there when only 2 other tables had guests) and still took very long to get drinks as they got busier it got even worst wait time to get the drinks. But all drinks ka are worth the wait and again food was deliciuos
Unique experience to have a mixologist fix a drink for us based on what flavors we like. Cooper did an excellent job, was very friendly and you can tell he loves what he's doing.

Arrived at 1:50pm for a 2pm reservation and told by the Valet sorry there is no parking available. We drove through the entire parking area 3 times and were frustrated and left.
The Distillery is a great spot for a cocktail or a glass of wine. We also ate lunch there, and the food was good. I highly recommend having the bartender craft you a custom cocktail. It was a cool experience, and the drink was delicious.
I’m selling 4 GA Jon Batiste Tickets for Thursday show September 18th at Mountain Winery - Saratoga, CA. If anyone interested in buying please send me a message ASAP unfortunately we cannot attend anymore. Willing to transfer them via Ticketmaster
Since it is advertised as a speakeasy it would be great for them to ask for a codeword or such to add to the atmosphere. Great food and drinks though.
Great vibe, but felt the food and wine was overpriced and mediocre. Would have ordered a cocktail, but they didn't have cognac. What bar doesn't have cognac?
